Not sure if you guys read comments, this has nothing to do with the video, but I’ve had a really bad couple of months and I found you guys not too long ago, I’ve watched everything by you guys and I’m loving these transformers reviews. You guys have made my past shitty couple of months so much more bearable, I still laugh at when you guys pointed out in the 2nd(I think?) transformers movie where they just throw optimus to the ground when he’s dead lol thank you both so much, you guys are hilarious and you’ve brightened up my day so much when nothing else does!
Transformers 4 is my guiltiest of pleasures. I think I just like the plot elements relating to gunface. I like it when stories reference 'higher powers' and larger lore things. Gunface has a great theme-song too.
Optimus Prime being able to fly would have come in handy when that old transformer sacrificed himself to give Optimus Prime some wings in the transformers movie with the TransTesticles.
one of the more fascinating things about these audio-only versions of CoG is why certain lines have been cut out. for example here, a cut line that is present here is, when talking about a monkey applying the internet to banana-pealing, james goes "it can't order a crate of bananas." good stuff, maybe
Unpopular opinion: I rather like how savage Optimus Prime is in these movies. He’s got a Conan the Barbarian vibe and not as noble hero he usually is. I like that he tears through Decepticons like he’s mowing a lawn and he has the best fights. I think it was these movies that made me like Optimus.
