@@fudge_factor Until i discovered hhn in 2016, sixflags frightfest was the greatest thing ever, then it was the second best thing. Then i discovered Fudge factor youtube channel, now it's down to 3rd. :) Right now they have special prices on season passes starting around $55. If you add the fright fest all season pass for $75, you're in for the rest of '24 and 2025 for less than $150. That's one night at aventura. Honestly I think this will be the scariest year yet for me at least as this will be my 4th year in a row going and was always let down by the scare factor of the event. I come from 30+ years of haunted houses experiences growing up in Chicago and venturing out throughout the states. Im not big on IP's as to me they are too commercial for my taste in haunts. I've visited the scariest haunts in America and HHN to me is just the Best Halloween Event when it comes to quality. Six Flags having IP's this year such as ones HHN has had in the past is goin to be the biggest disappointment for anyone who has seen experienced them. Six Flags/ Cedar Fair houses are very poor in quality and the IP names are just to bring in revenue. I know from experience. Anyways im excited for this years HHN and cant wait til im there the last week of October!
First off, my wife and I love yalls channel. We watch every single video and yalls stuff is top notch! The amount of people who complain is almost comical. Yes, this is an expensive event. Save earlier. Yes it’s packed, it’s a popular and successful event. If you want to bash it and talk about how others are doing it better (they’re not) then go buy your own venue, build your own houses and charge what you want to charge. My wife and I travel every year from NC for a week. This is the one “adult” trip of the year. Hopefully we can get the opportunity to run into y’all when we are down. See y’all in the fog🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thank you so much! We are glad you enjoy it!! We cannot thank you enough for the support! Exactly! Vote with your wallet! What are you most excited for??
We just love the vibes we get when we are there. As annual pass holders, we come 2-3 times a year with our kids. HHN is our adult week and just look forward to coming! We are doing a Private RIP tour, 6-house tour (I love seeing how things are built), and trying to find a 3-house tour for the week we are down. I’m a sucker for Ghostbusters (we are 80’s babies so it’s just cool to us and a throw back to when we were kids) and I will say Major Sweets is going to be an awesome house🤘.
Ooo and adults only trip will make it that much better!! You have a lot planned for your week!! Gotta make the most of being kid free! Have you listened to the discover Universal podcast about the major sweets house?
@@fudge_factor yes! That was an awesome backstory and gave a ton of context on the house! We really enjoy doing the 6-house tour too. The your guides are so awesome at giving the backstory while walking through the house. We have had Logan 2 of the 3 we have done and it’s always been top notch. Our oldest daughter (will be 12 this year) and really wants to go next year. Next year we are wanting to take two weeks off and fly to HHN Hollywood and then to HHN Orlando and do them back to back with both the kids. 2026 we are doing a Japan trip and want to go to HHN Japan too.
Aub I’m sad to say… the menus are still not out 😭 I saw the cute marshmallow snack and some deep fried mint cheesecake thing from ghostbusters but nothing else 😢
6 flags does not do great events. If you truly want to see the theme park who is on HHN level Knott's Scary. I've Done HHN 27 years and Knott's 50th last year was by far the best event I've done. HHN Hollywood isn't on the Orlando level. I of course hit haunts all over and HHN is just a smidge of my haunt world. I want to recommend Netherworld in Stone Mountain to you guys if you want to see the Haunt that is the best stand alone attraction in the country.
Netherworld is a multi million dollar haunt that uses original stories and characters. There are 2 haunts, the main haunt takes 20 to 25 minutes to do, the bottom show is 10 to 15 minutes to do. They have a midway full of photo ops and characters. They also have 4 top of the line escape games and a museum. Grimmlife did a great video on it. Also View from the cheap seats has done 4 or 5 videos on it. If you have time this season 13th floor in Jacksonville is also a very well done haunt, part of the 13th floor chain
@@fudge_factor There's a number of IP's that I would love to see, some of which are probably possible and some I realize likely aren't for various reasons. I'd love to see a Gremlins house, Terrifier would be cool, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey would be hilarious for a variety of reasons, Goosebumps/Fear Street could be a neat nostalgia trip... Really what it comes down to is that there isn't an IP this year that gives me the "oh man I'm so excited to see that in real life" vibe but that's ok.
There a couple of things you can do! 1. Compare single night tickets against multi night tickets. Sometimes buying multi night tickets, if they work with your plan, can save you some money! 2. Purchase tickets and express passes prior to getting to the event. Pre planning will almost always save you money 3. If you can, go during the week day and not weekend. Weekends are going to be busier and therefore more expensive 4. If you have gift cards left over from Mardi Gras, like the food card, you can use them for food at hhn!

@fudge_factor they do and there's several haunted houses and things around here. I was a scare actor 2 years ago but things like kings island and probably most northern parks are mostly just a cluster of roller coasters. Universal makes you feel like your part of the story in most of their rides
Well my boys and I will be there Sept. 7th thru the 14th. I'll have my opinion then. We are gonna go and have a great time that's my expectation. I think the original houses are the best ones anyway. My favorite 2 last year was Yeti and Bloodmoon offering. Hope that's the right name. Great video!!!!
@fudge_factor yes we are very excited. Our plane lands a little after 6pm so we will be arriving late to hhn the first night but with the pass we got we will have 5 nights. So I think our first stop will be Nightmare fuel. My boys never seen any of the hhn shows.

Thank you so muchhh!! We hope you have a great weekend!
Going to HHN in 18 days for the first time I cannot wait!
Omg we are PUMPED for you!!! What are you looking forward to most?!
@@fudge_factor honestly the triplets of terror, insidious of the renaissance fair house!
Those are going to be so fun!! We are excited to hear what you think!
If the people that complain would just stay away and let the rest of us who enjoy what universal has to offer go ….then it wouldn’t be nearly as crowded. Haters can just stay home and keep their money and complain at home. And I’ll go and have a good time ….With shorter lines.😁🎃👻
Amen!! We will have a great time! And we can all have fun in the fog together! What are you excited for this year?
“Freaked out…but in a good way..”👀
🤣😂
love that quote from min @2;30
Hahah let them haters hate! 😂🫡
Personally, I was let down a bit when Five Nights at Freddy wasn't a house.
That’s fair! We felt the same with no creature from the black lagoon! Were there any you were surprisingly excited for?
@@fudge_factoryes! Slaughter Sinema 2.
Did you experience slaughter sinema 1?
@@fudge_factor No, this is going to be my first HHN experience. I am using you guys as my guide book. lol
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 it’ll be great!
What are you looking forward to the most? What do you think will be the most scary? What is the scariest haunt you've experienced?
Oh man!! You guys have a ton planned! Will she be ready for hhn next year you think? It’s intense!
Can’t wait to see ya’ll in the Fog on Friday Eeeeekkkk!!!!!
GAHHHHH its going to be so much fun!!! What are you excited for??
@@fudge_factor I’m most excited to create new core memories with the Uni Fam!!!!!
All the memories!! We love this community!
Aub I’m sad to say… the menus are still not out 😭 I saw the cute marshmallow snack and some deep fried mint cheesecake thing from ghostbusters but nothing else 😢
Same! It does look cute, but doesn’t Uni know we need to plan our snacks out?! 😭😭Are there any snacks you hope make a return?
Hollywood just has a better line up. It is what it is
What makes you say that?
@@fudge_factor Texas chainsaw & The Weeknd ❤️
Ahhh those are going to be solid houses!!
Wooo! Living for this commentary. 👻 And yes insidious is def gonna go HARD! See yall soon!!!!
Gahhh we are so excited to see yall!! It’s going to be so fun and wicked fun 😉🤩
This is going to be another good year :-)
thanks guys
Thank you!!! Hope to see you there!!!
Oh yeah?? What’s that one like??
We will hopefully start to venture out to all of those other scares to see all great events around the country!
Gahhh we are going to have to check them out!
I am honestly more excited for the original houses. Those are always better IMO anyways!! Goblin Feast!
Is that the original you are most excited for?
SAFE TRAVELS - Enjoy everything!!! I'm so jelly BUT am looking forward to your video's from HHN. Hugs B
Gahhh thank you so much!! 😊 hugs back
It's a little weak for me in terms of IP. That said, every year I come away really impressed with the originals so not really worried about it.
The originals are always amazing! 🙌 what would have made it stronger on the IP side for you?
@@fudge_factor There's a number of IP's that I would love to see, some of which are probably possible and some I realize likely aren't for various reasons. I'd love to see a Gremlins house, Terrifier would be cool, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey would be hilarious for a variety of reasons, Goosebumps/Fear Street could be a neat nostalgia trip...
Really what it comes down to is that there isn't an IP this year that gives me the "oh man I'm so excited to see that in real life" vibe but that's ok.
That’s totally fair! Just curious - what’s your take on the insidious house?! We think it’ll be legit!
@@fudge_factor I'm sure it will be great, and that I'll enjoy it, it's just not a franchise I'm particularly interested in.
That’s fair!! We are excited to hear what you think!
Pleasee
Give us tips on how to save when going to universal horror nights pleaseeee
There a couple of things you can do!
1. Compare single night tickets against multi night tickets. Sometimes buying multi night tickets, if they work with your plan, can save you some money!
2. Purchase tickets and express passes prior to getting to the event. Pre planning will almost always save you money
3. If you can, go during the week day and not weekend. Weekends are going to be busier and therefore more expensive
4. If you have gift cards left over from Mardi Gras, like the food card, you can use them for food at hhn!
All the hate comments are just going to motivate the scare actors even more.
Ohhh I’m here for this! Those scare actors work their buns off! Can’t wait to see them in the fog! 😶🌫️
Good video. One of your best off sight videos. Lay it out straight. If you don't like it don't go. See you next year. I live an hour away from kings island and never go but we go to universal several times a year. I'm sure hhn will be great as always
Thank you so much! Does kings island do anything for Halloween?
@fudge_factor they do and there's several haunted houses and things around here. I was a scare actor 2 years ago but things like kings island and probably most northern parks are mostly just a cluster of roller coasters. Universal makes you feel like your part of the story in most of their rides
Ahhh very different vibes! At least it’s a way to ring in the spooky season 👻
Bringing the scream squad is a sure fire way to have a great time!! That’s a nice long trip! Are you excited?? It’s almost here!
Thank you so much!!
@fudge_factor yes we are very excited. Our plane lands a little after 6pm so we will be arriving late to hhn the first night but with the pass we got we will have 5 nights. So I think our first stop will be Nightmare fuel. My boys never seen any of the hhn shows.
@@fudge_factor and we are also staying at Aventura for the first time.
Lots of firsts for your party! Getting them fully immersed with nightmare fuel! Love it! Gotta give them some love while you’re at hhn!
@fudge_factor when are you 2 going? Is there a hotel that you guys prefer going to that's not premier?
They have mini stay puft marshmallow S'mores... I'm sold!
They do!! It’s adorable!! Have you checked out the other food at all??
That Eclair from the Quiet Place booth looks *chefs kiss*
Right??? We are gonna have to try that one
idk if you heard anything similar to Megan flash mob at universal will be at hhn 33🤔?
We haven’t heard anything about a flash mob but she will likely make an appearance at the Blumhouse scare zone
Weeknd house totes scared me. Those nurses.....😵😳
Those nurses! So much filler 😂😭. That queue was so much fun though!
Still waiting on those food menus 😭
I knowwwwww so bummed!! ☹️😭We want to plan our snacks!! Doesn’t Uni know we need to plan our snacks out?!
🎉🎉 HHN is one of my favorite times at Universal. Is it crowded yes it is. Do you need express pass yes I think you do. I personally like the HHN houses over the IP houses. Universal creative is amazing 🤩 ❤❤. I know you guys will have a blast. 💥 Can’t wait to see it all.
You already know we will be coming in hot with the content!! Thank you!
@@fudge_factor Yass I know yall will bringing the heat !!! Can’t wait.

Edit: love your shirt Ben!
Gahhhhhh it’s coming so quick!! Thank you so much! We love some themed shirts! We got it last year at hhn!
The insidious house was overhyped. And the houses🤦🏾♂️🤣 It was not even scary not how everybody says it is and I just think hhn is overhyped
Ok 👍 see you at the other local haunts instead?
@@fudge_factor it’s just not for me anymore and can admit that. It’s probably I just outgrew the horror and scariness
Totally understandable 🤗
Haha loving this! Haters gonna hate 😂 Bringing the positive back into HHN!! ❤
Yesss!!! Brining the positive vibes always! 🫶🖤😈
4 days awayyyy!!! Also I never get express and I can get 8 out of the 10 houses on opening night
Dang!! That’s a heck of plan!! Well done!! What house are you headed to first?
@@fudge_factor starting off with a bang this year with insidious I love those films I need to be the first one in there just like how I was the first person to get into thr last of us last year!!!

Shoutout to the hater 😂
🤣😂 will you be there opening night?
I thought last year was shit.
Why did you think so?
We are got our tickets
We got are scream squad
And we got the express

🙌🏻🙌🏻 right? We’ll have a good time!
Love the event
The end
*mic drop* 🎤 love it!
Haters are going to hate.
So true!
I’ve never been this apathetic about hhn, most of the houses sound so boring. Way more excited for Knott’s scary and the other smaller haunts like Screamageddon, etc
Very interesting take! What would have made the houses more intriguing to you???
I’m always surprised that people think Knotts is good, I’m sorry but doing the same house for 5-6 or more years in a row is boring
We’ve never been to Knotts. We’ve heard good things about it!
