I dont understand this DI, it seems that is simulates active and normal pick ups, I cant see what good it does if it ignores pick ups which users installed for specific tones, how does this DI actually work?
@@mikehunt576 It could be a lot of things. The EMG 81 has two differently wound coils utilized to make a Gyrator which shapes the sound. Maybe it applies this EQ curve. Maybe it's a general EQ shape to make passives sound like actives. Maybe it's an impulse response from a SD JB matched to an EMG 81 or a Fishman.
I downloaded the demo and tested against my 7 string in drop G, and the tonal clarity is amazing!! It can do everything from that scooped mid old school Fear Factory sound to a more modern, clangy mid tone that sounds incredible.
Literally just saw the video of dino explaining why he chooses to go digital, and he announced the disrupter plugin. Now that I heard your demo, I gatta get it now🔥
Gotta admit, that sounds pretty fucking epic! Gotta ask, are you using the same mixing technique in this clip as you did in the "HOW I MIX METAL MUSIC WITH SLATE DIGITAL!" clip? I think this might be my new favorite tone i've heard in a while.
So I definitely have to say, I'm a neural fan first and foremost sheerly due to not really clicking with a few of the other JST plugins and the like over the years but I've got say I really have been enjoying this and using the FabFilter style EQ plugin. Really top stuff in my opinion and great demo, my dude.
I’m new to amp sims, I’m using a focusrite 2i2, going to some studio monitors, have a tele, with a EMG 81 in the bridge, I’m getting a lot of feedback, is that normal? I have the gate set over half and still getting feedback, anyway to eliminate this? Any feedback would help
Turn down your interface input level if it’s past noon. Otherwise turn down the plugin input and adjust the plugin output accordingly. So that the level meter is in the green and low orange level at most.
Killer Video my friend! That sim looks and sounds sick, eventhough I don't play a lot of high gain stuff myself :) By the way, before clicking on your video I was listening to a podcast and I still had my playback speed at 1.75x and that intro sounded sooo badass!
