Before you buy a new blend motor. Remove the existing motor and look closely at the WHITE HEX DRIVE thats attched to the blend door. If it has cracks that means the blend motor is skipping and not turning the door completely. And see if the flats inside the hex is rounded out. Then you have a new problem.

They don’t sell the white little socket gear that control the heat cool flute. Dealer wants $2500 to take the whole dashboard out 9.5 hrs labor, . I guess Nissan needs more complaints about a 50 cent defective part causing a $2500 problem. I’ve glued mine 4-5 times but it only lasts a few months.
My white connection is stripped out. The actuator works fine but it just spinns in the hole. Has anyone figure out how to fix that stripped part? Dealer wants $2600 to replace the whole air blender box. They say they can't just replace that connector.
you CAN remove the floor duct with out removing the bad to the bone screw. the vent duct can be pulled out some and lowered to access the actuator motor.
You might be able to remove the screw on the right, and pull the right side off. It is very firm, but the plastic is thin and flexes. I got the left screw out so i haven't tried it.
I have a 2015 Rogue with No heat on drive side but heat is on the passenger side. The stepper motor replacement is the fix for the No heat on the driver side. I need the Nissan part number for the drive side stepper motor.
Did that fix your problem with no heat on the drivers side? I also have no heat in the rear passenger and only in the front passenger side. Did that motor fix your problem? Please let me know. Thanks.
What is the difference between the type B and type A motors? I’m trying to fix my issue with my drivers side heat not working. My rear passenger one doesn’t work either but my front passenger one works. Please tell me which one I need to replace. Thanks.

Do you know if replacing the yellow type-B one beside it helps when my 2019 model changes airflow from vents only rarely and sometimes it feels like not one vent is open? Blower motor speed and temperature changes work normally.
any chance youd have insight on a 2018 not having the AC blowing the same on the right side as the left. The temp does change to heat with the control but does not come to the same cold as the driver when turned to the same temp. I'm at a standstill. Thanks for the insight here.

Everything looks good. I changed the piece. It is hexagonal and looks good and it still keeps blowing warm air.

Glue the actuator on it and pray the actuator never go bad

Did you have to disconnect the steering column? I'm being quoted over 2k for this fix
No you do not have to remove the steering column

I called nissan to order the motor and they said it needs to be calibrated woth thier software for $160. Is there a way for me to calibrate it myself?
I did not do any calibration before installing it.

You'll have to remove the dash to remove that piece in that case. I only replaced the motor, not sure as far as replacing the HVAC unit goes

How the hell did you get the screw off the vent piece
Use a quarter inch drive with a hex that accepts Philips head bits that's how I got it out
