And these two plant creatures from their biggest franchises have made their mark in recent years for…Lets say their cuteness. It's the piping plant of Bowser's army, Piranha Plant, against the doughy dragon from the Galar region of Pokemon, Appletun!

► ABOUT:
piranha plants (also known as piranha flowers and piranhas and misspelled as pirana plants in early manuals and as pirahna flower in an australian nintendo magazine system issue) are large, carnivorous plants encountered throughout the mario franchise. they are seemingly based on venus flytraps and eat anything that approaches them.
the head of a piranha plant is most commonly either red or green with multiple other colors. originally, piranha plants were found exclusively in pipes, darting out and biting anything near. currently, piranha plants can be found both in and out of pipes, and may constantly bite or wait for mario to approach to do so.
despite being plants, piranha plants have been depicted as being sentient and capable of speech in a few appearances. piranha plant characters such as petey piranha, piranha bean and dino piranha, among others, reveal that some piranha plants can have animal-like bodies, making them capable of walking.
appletun (タルップル, taruppuru) is a grass/dragon-type introduced in generation viii. it can also gigantamax into gigantamax appletun.
appletun is a dragon-apple pie hybrid. its body is mostly green with a yellow underside and lower jaw. its eyes as applin are now sitting on top of its draconic head and are flapped down by a round piece of apple skin. its back is shaped like an apple pie with a criss cross design and 2 apple leaves in the center.
it wafts a sweet aroma, like bounsweet. however, it uses the sweet scent to lure bug type pokémon to eat.these rotund creatures are quite mild-mannered, spending much of their time lazing about in branches or at the base of trees. at a first glance, resting appletun may seem like sitting ducks when it comes to predators. the very insects they attract to prey on, however, will actually defend appletun and their delicious nectar fiercely. in some areas, appletun nectar is harvested and used to bake a variety of different pastries. these sweet treats are especially popular in the autumn.

I adore Appletun so much, so seeing him get a fire battle is really cool. Idk who won I'm just happy that we have and Appletun fight and 2 goated PP episodes.
