Those Mountain Ratcheting Wrench Set Iook very well made. And those DuraTech Long Wrench Sets are beautiful looking and are some great 👍🏻 gifts/giveaways you are going to give out. GOD Be With You Always My Friend Jeff. You are a true inspiration and amazing man.,🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸
Great review, Jeff! Yay! Another month end giveaway! That will surely make the recipient smile. Very nice wrenches for a giveaway! We were cloudy and very cool in Michigan…rained all evening.
Looks like a real nice set, Jeff....and $170 bucks is not a crazy price for that level of quality. Thank you for this series, I've been really enjoying it!
Good video. I went with the HF Icon version for the lifetime warranty. I also picked up a 19/17 Northern Tool Ironton version on clearance for $28 last month. :D
Another great review Jeff. I would probably go with the Icon version for ease of warranty purposes. I have a Harbor Freight nearby. I like what I see in the Duratech line. Decent quality considering the price point. Would make for a great starter set for a young tech on a tight budget. Glad to see the channel growing. You're doing an excellent job in your reviews! It's cold and rainy her in CT today.
These are the exact set as the Harbor Freight set. I got them for 170 usd, but have to say as a DIYer its realy not a necessity, at least for working on Hondas
Yes the icon set from harbour freight is the same!! some guys never to own any!! i think if your a pro or do alot of suspension work they will be nice to have in your arsenal!! thanks fod joining in and sharing your thoughts, stay tuned!!
These are super nice, but for the price, you would think they could include the one wrench that's missing? Have you seen the new snap-on set? They are 800 dollars.... Crazy... They are really nice looking but, not worth that price IMO. Oh plus they are on backorder. Lol
I have the Dura Tech Flair Nuts and Crows feet. They sure are solid. Both sets have good 'packaging'; the crows feet, in foam, and the Flares in a pouch. That pouch is really nicely marked, and seems sturdy.. On the Croes feet, I took a tip from Country Mile Garage, anf bought a simple 3/8" bar stock, to use As I've said before, no one would be sad to have Dura Tech in their box Maybe go with 3/8" Flex heads Ratchets in some future series?
i do like duratech tools, good bang for the buck! they seem to always have top notch foam trays and roll up pouches as well!! 3/8 flex head ratchet series is on my list!!! that would be fun to do!! thanks my friend!!
@@jefftovani5535 My mine set is mostly craftsman usa with Snap-on and SK to fill in holes craftsman did not make so my metric set goes from 6mm to 24mm.
You know i never used them until five years ago,i only had non ratcheting old craftsman long pattern!! got the mountain, and gearwrench sets first i never knew how i survived without them after that!
Yea duratech are nice for what you pay,but not top shelf!! thier waranty is suspect as well!! tone set im still waiting for,i might have to show after the series is over!!
I actually bought some duratech Flex head ratcheting wrenches because I wasn't sure how often I would use them and I don't make money from turning turning wrenches. I was very pleasantly surprised at how useful that $55.00 set of flex head ratcheting combination wrenches has been, and after a couple of years I still haven't replaced a single one of them. Very pleased with that purchase

Hi my friend yea icon would be your best bet, great waranty, same wrench!! its amazing how many times this style has been rebranded!!
Mountain looks like a good quality tool company I would definitely buy those great pricing too thanks for the information Jeff
Yea these are nice, the icon set is the same also!!
Happy Sunday Jeff, thanks for another excellent review, mountain wrenches are on my "when I grow up and become real mechanic" tools to buy😂.
Hi my friend,im sure your good at wrenching, all you guys no your tools!! stay tuned!!

These are nice,no doubt, stay tuned for more!!
Nice tools, unfortunately a lot of rebranding now these days. Even some of the best tool companies rebrand.

Your welcome my friend!! more to come, the give away is tuesday, stay tuned!!
Also if you got these get a 10mm to bit driver adapter, will give you a nice narrow long bit driver
Hi fred that a good idea! thanks my friend for your input, stay tuned!!

I’ve wanted some of them Mountain style for years
These are nice set!! one of my top sets i use!! thanks my friend as always for joining in!!
Bring on those Duratech wrenches
Urah!! thanks for watching,stay tuned!!
Take a gander at ye Mountain wrenches. Never heard of the brand until recently but apparently its a popular set and i can see why.
Yea thier nice set!! rebranded,icon,k-tool, atd, platinum are all made same factory kaboo!
Nobody can FEEL back drag from sound! A visual is sooo easy to do, just hold the bolt horizontal and let the wrench roll free from 90 degrees.
Thanks!
Gotta love the Kabo wrenches. Great tools. I will probably go with Icon just for the ease of warranty. Thanks for another great review!
Kabo does make quality sets, and yea icon is the same, and easy waranty!! thanks for your support!!
Jeff, What do you think of stubby wrenches ? I don't use them often but they have been handy at times.
Hi my friend i dont use them alot myself!! but you still need them for confined space in some situations!! i own gearwrench, sunnex and tekton sets
@@jefftovani5535 My mine set is mostly craftsman usa with Snap-on and SK to fill in holes craftsman did not make so my metric set goes from 6mm to 24mm.
Interesting set, but I'd still go to Harbor Freight and buy the icons just because it's a whole lot easier to take them back if they break.
Thats your best bet with these!! easy warranty with icon at harbour freight!!
Especially with a 179.99 coupon.
Looking to get some long pattern wrenches. Honestly, I've never used any so I don't know what I'm missing.
You know i never used them until five years ago,i only had non ratcheting old craftsman long pattern!! got the mountain, and gearwrench sets first i never knew how i survived without them after that!
As someone else said I bought the Icon version for warranty purposes. They are not cheap but I like them.
Thats being smart!! great waranty!! same wrench!!
Awesome wrenches!
hi my friend thanks for jumping in!
Would Mountain or K tool be little less equality then other where casting wasn't good enough?
Thats a good question, should do some more research into that!!
Are those made in China?
the moutains are made in taiwan, same rebranded, as icon,platinum,k-tool!!! nice sets!!
Was always iffy to give duratech a shot. Had my eye one the tone set. They seemed like high quality. Cant wait for that review.
Yea duratech are nice for what you pay,but not top shelf!! thier waranty is suspect as well!! tone set im still waiting for,i might have to show after the series is over!!

I dont mind if the skip 11 but 10 12 13 14 15 18 are a must
Hey papa i agree with you!! stay tuned my friend!!
Missing that 11 kills me, I could almost live without the 16 though.
@@Roger_Icce I dont think I use a 11 twice a month. I seem to use the 7 more then the 11.
@@jefftovani5535 I have no choice you have me on the edge of my seat. You know I am waiting to see what you think of Icon.
