I’m not completely sure, never tried. I think it would depend on the weight of the ring. It would probably work for a lighter ring, but maybe not if the ring is too heavy. Also, it will start floating much higher up since the width of the ring is a lot less than a rubber band, so it won’t fall very far before it stops, which might be another problem! You probably need to not hold the two hands as far apart if you do
