If anyone took the time to analyze the Panthro character they would respect and know why this theme fits Panthro perfectly. The theme is dynamic but doesn’t take itself too serious. Panthro was serious, a mechanical genius and also had a cool sense of humor. Awesome character
The panthro theme sounds like something the Stanley Clarke would have done. From the electric guitar intro to the strong Funk bass line throughout the rest of the song. Outstanding theme song overall.

@KeweKrypto 12 C'mon, dude. If you couldn't pick up that a character who was inexplicably adept at multiple disciplines, had the only theme reminiscent of black 70s disco, used nunchucks like Jim Kelly and was voiced by the deep rich tone of Earle Hyman was in fact a representation of a black man... then I'm really not sure what show you were watching, bruv.
@@sylvestergause7219 I always saw Panthro as a black badass guy... Notice how its theme is kinda funk from the seventies... In a way, going a little far, he may be even remotely related to the Black Panthers... No doubt, the most awesome of the Thundercats...

Just to share, Panthro's theme was slightly modified to be used with Panthro's pride and joy, the Thundertank; I say that because he was their mechanic, engineer and pilot all wrapped into one.
Was there ever any doubt Panthro was black? And unlike today's SJW (frankly racist) attempts at "diversity", being black wasn't his main character trait, he was the engineer. Panthro was my favourite character because, although he was incredibly strong, he saw his strength as just another tool to help him solve problems and build his machines; we saw Panthro use his strength to haul scrap and straighten out bent pipes just as often as we saw him wrestle with enemies. Whereas others in his position might have relied on raw brute strength, Panthro valued his ingenuity above all else. Panthro is the reason I started taking things apart as a child, and now I study physics.
I've always said that Panthro was the "black" Thundercat. He was my favorite because he had the nunchakus, the Thunder-Tank and he kicked all kinds of ass but I never really considered how they made him more than just a black archetype, with all the other attributes you mentioned. Very astute observations.
