one of my goals for this year has been to get back into reading, it’s challenging sometimes but makes me feel very good when i actually do it😅

I usually reread an old favourite if I’m in a reading slump! That usually gets me out of the slump. I also try to watch more book content which makes me motivated to read!

7:28 doesnt matteeeeerrrr. vlogs like this are so comforting, its like a friend ure on facetime w across the state/country for hours on end, just taking you with them on their daily, normal, uneventful life that is nonetheless, still very fulfilling and enjoyable on both ends. It feels natural and intimate, and more genuine. So dont be so hard on yourself! You have almost 30k people waiting for your stories and creations, and im one of them! So keep going, and most importantly, keep doing what makes you happy.

what i do to get out of a reading slump is to read every day. i've found that i will just tell myself i'll read the next day, which turns into the next day, and so on. since i have done this i have read every single day of this year, and it's honestly just become apart of my daily routine. and it 's okay to just read a few pages because it's still reading and reading it good for you :)

I just stumbled upon your channel and I really love your vibes! I also deactivated my tiktok for the summer so I can read more and focus on myself. What I just started doing to get out of a reading slump is by reading 50-100 pages everyday (depending on how good the story is) and I usually track my progress on storygraph!
I also thought I was missing a lot now that I'm not on tiktok but honestly, I'm just missing out on memes, random trends, and pointless drama. So hopefully knowing that helps you stay off tiktok 😅😅

6:53 this is so real lol I often catch myself looking at the page numbers while reading instead of just enjoying the book! I don’t need to be in a rush to finish a book 🤦🏾♀️. I recommend reading the death of Ivan llyich by Leo Tolstoy. It is a short and very interesting read! I could feel myself slowly getting reader block, know that way?! And that book save me. I love your blogs by the way, they are so comforting. Xx
