I was pretty depressed when I was a teen. Now I'm 34, and nothing makes me want to end it like back then. I'm glad I was strong enough. If you're ever wanting to do it, wait, you're likely unable to see it at the time, but there's pretty much always a realization in the future that will cause you to think "if I'd followed through, imagine everything I'd have missed? All the people I'd never have met."
I'm 32... I'm so glad for you. :) For whatever it means, may God's love be with you... I hate it when people let strife rule their lives. But to hate living beings would kill me, long before my depression would or ever could.

oh man, a comment on another classic amv from this era reminded me this one existed, and i immediately came to see it again i used to watch this amv on loop when it was a new upload. it was one of the things that helped me power through when everything was too much. back then i didn't think i'd live this long. still not sure how i'm here. i won't say "it gets better", because that's not always true, but i will say it can get easier, especially if you put work into building social support and work on your mental health.

Nearing the end of 2020 and I've never forgotten this amv. Always been the best one I've seen.
For anyone looking for the name of anime in AMVs that don't list them, here's a trick you can use:
1) Take a screen shot of the clip you want to know the anime of (works best if you get a clear shot without blurriness or a lot of editing)
2) Paste it to and save it on Paint (you may need to crop out everything other than the image of the anime you want identified)
3) Go to images.google.com and drag the file of the image you saved into the search box and you should get your answer in the results.

Bruh I just watched "5 Centimeters Per Second" for the first time and was struck by MASSIVE nostalgia because I regognized the train scene and kissing under the tree from this video immediately and just had to come back for this video 12 years later.
