    Just found your channel, amazing content. Thank you so much for this videos. Hope you can make more. Its very hard to found all the information to uploud and entire proyect in aws using terraform. This helps a lot. I'm currently working in a project with the frontend made in react, the backend in java, the database in mysql, and I have to uploud the entire project to aws using terraform. If you have more information on this I would really appreciate.

    Error: creating EC2 Instance: InvalidParameterValue: The architecture 'i386,x86_64' of the specified instance type does not match the architecture 'arm64' of the specified AMI. Specify an instance type and an AMI that have matching architectures, and try again. You can use 'describe-instance-types' or 'describe-images' to discover the architecture of the instance type or AMI. Can u help me to solve this trouble?

    Do you know how to rename the Multiple Windows Servers at OS level along with building the server through terraform? Because, by default when you build the server through terraform, the name at the OS level would be EC2.... something for all the server. Thanks in advance!

    Its fine what u have explained but my doubt is while we are maintaining couple of servers with count but some instances type should be different and security groups, subnet ids as well as instance names '

    • @cloudchamp
      @cloudchamp  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use count.index or other meta arguments like for each

    can we customize the memory size of of ec2 instance using terraform?

    • @cloudchamp
      @cloudchamp  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When creating ec2 instance you choose instance type which defines how many cpu or memory should be given to server. for eg t2.micro has 2cpu and 1GB memory.
      so yes, you can customize.

    Could not retrieve the list of available versions for provider hashicorp/aws

      Add version parameter in the provider block and make sure you are using valid version. You can get the version details from aws provider page on terraform 🙏

    How to create 2 EC2 instances in 2 different subnets ? Also, how can we provide static IP to any EC2 instance if needed?

    • @cloudchamp
      @cloudchamp  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To create instances in different subnets you need to enter vpc and subnet id. And to have static ip you can create and attach elastic ip to your instance. 👍

    aws : The term 'aws' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the
    spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

    Can we use python instead of javascript?

    • @cloudchamp
      @cloudchamp  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      we are not using python or javascript in Terraform, we are using YAML language but you can use Python boto3 for launching Instances as well.
