⭐ TRAIL DESCRIPTION ⭐
A video tour of the TF-3 circular trail in the Anaga Rural Park in Tenerife. This official trail goes in a loop between Casa Forestal (Forester Warden's House) and the village of Valle Brosque. If you are not familiar with the geography of the island, it is roughly located in the area between the middle of the Anaga Rural Park and the Las Teresitas beach.
The trail is unique for the fact that is has not one, but two abandoned rock houses that hikers can easily visit. Approximate location: 28.532320, -16.221263 or goo.gl/maps/JS.... If you ascend from Valle Brosque, the rock houses are on the trail to the right (to the left if you start form Casa Forestal). It's quite easy to miss them as they are not marked in any way on the trail. Besides the rock houses, you of course also have the very beautiful and scenic panoramas of the Valle Seco area as you ascend and descend to Valle Brosque. The trail is parallel and has the TF-2 and TF-5 trails as its "competition". Out of these three trails, we liked the TF-5 the most, but it's a one-way trail between the Chamorga village and has no rock houses, however, TF-3 and TF-2 (Taborno village-Pico del Ingles-Valle Seco) are not much inferior.
Officially advertised trail lengths is about 7.4 kilometers, but we ended up doing around 9km, as the official informaiton is a bit off and does not count the stretch of road on top of the Anaga ridges.
The TF-3 is ok for kids, particularly those above 8. Bear in mind that the trail has 650 meters of total vertical ascent, making it a medium difficulty hike.

Hi! We really sympathize with the situation the Tenerife's locals find themselves in, particularly, when it comes to affordable housing. The salaries levels on the island are also suprisingly low for most permanent residents. However, we highly doubt that limiting the number of videos about the island's stunning nature will contribute even a little to a solution. I think that the solution is limiting the number of tourists by higher tourism-related taxes, limiting flights to the island, attracting tourists that are ready to spend more, inreasing taxes for services that are mostly used by tourists, etc. This is a responsibility of the regional and Spain's national government, in our humble opinion.
