Ever since I first saw this I've been playing it on a constant loop either 1) on TH-cam or 2) in my head. *DEAR GOD.*
It's all spectacular--every moment--but my *favorite* moment might be the mellophonium line answering the horn figure starting at 1:35. I don't feel like I *need* a religion, but if I *had* one, this video full of jaw-dropping brass virtuosity tearing up this stellar, joyful arrangement would be a strong contender.
Can I put this on my tombstone?

Dude! Are you from some distant planet or something? You are playing 26 different tracks on 10 different brass instruments? I can't figure out what you are doing with those strange mutes in that trumpet that you are playing in the beginning. Then you put down that insane trombone solo? Did it take you 3 months to put this video together? And the expression on your face never changes! And you next going to tell us that is your arrangement of that song?
The trumpet mute in the beginning is just a weird-looking straight mute! It doesn't play well at all...I really need to get a better one.
The actual recording took a few days, a few hours here and there. Working around 3 housemates makes recording very tricky...I'd have a lot more videos out if I lived alone! The arrangement took longer to write, but still not too bad.

Day-um. This was awesome. You don't see the mellophonium very often and you use it very well here.
"Very Well" doesn't describe what he does with the mellophonium! INSANE is more like it! My wife who knows NOTHING about music except how to turn on the radio, commented on those mellophonium runs!
