To be honest, I am kinda conflicted about Toga's parents, if I did have a kid that will kill someone just to drink their blood is somewhat horrifying to see. Like, you found your kid covered with blood and was convicted with murder, you'd be super stressful, even if you want to talk with your kid genuinely, you'd still be suffering the consequences because it is still your kid. They also seek for help, because if they were some bad parents, they will just kill Toga at her sleep, or leave her. It is neither Toga's fault nor her parents because if you think about love, how can you actually point what love is? Also, about the LGBTQ, It was fine in the MHA world, we have Tiger crossdressing, nor evidently, we have some gay people in MHA like Toga (heck even that guy in the MHA:Smash where Ojiro was trained was kinda suspicious), I kinda it was not because Toga was gay or pansexual, but because Toga really killed someone despite of knowing that person still is living, had a family and something else. Like no one bats an eye that Toga mentioned she like Izuku, Stain, and Ochako. Literally. That's why the counseling was ever done. The concept of love is so much twisted that you can't actually point what it is.... Is it affection? is it the lust? We just don't know what type of love Toga ever really needs... Same goes to her parents' perspectives, I don't think they are good, but I just don't think they are bad either. Luckily, Ochaco was there to realize something is wrong with Toga, and was at state of hurting. This makes sense when Ochaco wanted to talk about love, because honestly, Toga needs to know what is love in the first place. Just saying.... 😅😅😅

For me, this is Ochaco's second best moment in the entire series! She went full badass in this final battle! And her character has come full circle at this point. She went from just being a hero to get money for her parents, to leaning from Izuku's prospective about being a hero, to saving people and making them smile, to finally befriending her rival, and confesses her true feelings about Izuku. She really came along way! I'm so proud of her! And Toga as well. She died knowing SOMEONE (Ochaco) finally understands her. One of the best battles in the series! My only LITTLE nit pick is about Toga remembering Quirk Canceling And Curious. And this is towards Bones, not Horikoshi. When Toga is remembering both Quirk Canceling And Curious, she remembers what Curious said about society pushing her away, but we also get an explanation by Curious about what Quirk Canceling actually is and what it does.....in the Manga. Bones didn't adapt Curious explaining it. Now yes, it's good to see anime only watches finally get an explanation on what Quirk Canceling is. But in the Manga, it was more impactful. Because everything Curious said about Quirk Canceling, was all coming full circle at this moment. In the anime, it just feels like it came out of no where. That's my ONLY problem. But GREAT episode overall!
I gotta say for the part where uraraka say she’s in love with izuku/deku to me I guess that’s like the only thing will ever know that shows ochaco that she loves Deku from the moment friendship grew And how she was inspired by him

7:30, this is stupid beyond belief. A hero is one who performs good deeds while a villain is the polar opposite of a hero, being one who preforms evil deeds.

Yeah this completley fails as a metafor for being le gay and conversion therapy unless these are depicted as good. Togas sexuality and not being bi since she is just attracted to blood makes her inherently dangerous to others especially when she doesent bother to ask for consent. This would be like saying that anyone on the LGBTQ scale is inherently creepy and would just lash out murdering and raping because they just can't help themselvs or understand that its bad. The story never shows Togas actions as good because guess what they aint. Not acepting your child for being obsessed with blood and trying to convert that is objectivly a good thing to try. The problem was that Toga refused to act like a person who isn't a complete monster. Hell she was labeld a villain because she assulted her class mate and started drinking his blood. Her whole obsession with Deku was to recreate her first victim. The fact that the fandom actually tries to exuse this degenerate behaviour is just sad. Even the LGBTQ part belives this even though this is a perfect argument for it. Sexual perversion is only okay if it's a woman who does it. A lewd boy whose main goal in life is to ogle and molest girls is disgusting and must disappear. A psychiatrically unhinged girl who derives sexual pleasure from stabbing men and drinking their blood is cute and perfectly acceptable. If a serial killer displays no remorse for their actions, actively tries to kill you several times, and rants about how everyone else is wrong for trying to stop them from killing people, they still deserve sympathy if you both happen to like the same guy. Any Toga supporter is objectivly wrong and cringe.
3:50 as always, with these stupid metaphors, they always fail to capture the issue. This, on the other hand, is a great metaphor as it captures the issue fairly well. Both are about disordered desires, and both the real world and mha come to the false conclusion that these false desires should not be repressed but, in fact, celebrated the only difference is who the desires seem to affect on a surface level with homosexuality seeming to only affect the individuals that are directly involved while Toga's affects those around her more obviously.
4:41 this is of course where it goes wrong. Toga gets this false idea that everyone lives by doing whatever they want rather than suppressing an evil desrie should it appear.

Yeah but that's your theory not an actual fact. For Toga it was simply that there were ways to manage her problem, instead she gets dubbed a freak at birth. Her obsession with taking blood aggressively, killing people. Was only born because she put a lid on her herself because of society, and it exploded. And someone who looked like deku got caught up in it. (and at a point like that there would be no going back, because she would now be a criminal) . The theme here is that what if someone's quirk is negatively impact other's life and they don't to ever change that. Should they still be accepted or should they be eliminated?
@@yoru8815 yeh that's not even close that's just how your choosing to interpret it. Seeing blood would not be the obsession because that's just her nature, that she was born with. The obsession of taking it forcibly was born because the lid she had on to "fit in" exploded creating that obsession. Guess what there was literally nothing she could do at that point because she would be dubbed a criminal, so how is that fair. All of this could be avoided with acceptance. Guess what did she do before she exploded. Who cares about a bird. She could've been shown other options or possibilities but no, they dubbed her a freak and left it at that..
And i'm pretty sure thats just the shallow minded version you gave us btw.
Yeah well afo did much more than that. He literally kidnapped children and mind fucked them. Which is way worse than death btw.
@@MatthewUchiha-hg2fl you don't understand huh? Her obsession with seeing already exist, the fact the she is injuring a bird to see blood is enough evidence and that is before she is being told anything.
"Who cares about birds". Animal is always the first step, if injuring and killing animals is already normalized it's only a matter of time before it gets to people.
Accepting her means you're okay with her always killing something there's no middle ground in that.
AFO at the beginning only cares about taking quirks there's no kidnapping or other things you mentioned. Say if AFO never do any other things but simply stealing quirks from everyone would you still accept him and okay with it?
@@yoru8815 again your not thinking deeply. Your seeing shit then going bat shit crazy. I mean there are men who kill animals on the daily. Quiting without even trying is not right. guess what that was ""there child"". A child, you dont take something a child does and judge their whole future off of it btw. All your saying are hypotheticals. None of what you said are facts your just spitting your hate, literally. It literally says in the manga the she had a deep fascination with blood at birth. Therefore it's a/her nature.
11:56 again you have no one to blame for your actions but yourself. This is the monster she made herself into.
If this was Dabi, I’d agree. But Toga is influenced by her quirk to be like this.
@legendofacriuswithornament2019 to some extent yeah she still made her own choice ochaco holds her accountable for what she did on her own, but it's important to recognize that she was also failed by those around her that lead her down this path which ochaco also acknowledges when talking to toga and of course in the future
@@joshuaagee-bass4049Unfortunately, that is true. Because of her quirk, she got addicted to blood.
