Honestly this is a good theory. I would say though, using the artifact to go back might be unlikely in my opinion. More likely it would attempt to recreate that universe possibly causing the universes to merge. We already have strong hints at the prior multiverse still being around in some form inside of the darkaether from the story of coldwar.

This is just my theory that I am putting out there but what if it’s Samual from the tranzit crew? I feel like he has the potential to have the best villain arc, especially after being betrayed so many times all because he and his friends just wanted to survive. I feel like he’s had enough time in the dark ather after being sent their after Richthofen manipulated them get the Aargthan device. It’s also odd that we have not had any mention of this crew at all over the past few years so while they were in the dark ather maybe they or Samual gain enough power to manipulate others so that his friends can come back (why they are missing idk) but also it’s worth considering Eddie’s son is named Samual and I believe Eddie wants to bring his son and wife back so it’s possible Samual from the Dark ather has been manipulating Eddie to free him instead so that he and his friends and cause havoc in the world. Bringing back the chaos story and crew would be a huge step in right direction. But they still need to dewarzonify zombies big time. Loadouts, score streaks, scrap all that crap out of the game and start getting back to the creative sheilds, unique wonder weapons.

This may seem crazy but hear me out. Now that the Chaos story is canon with the Dark Aether story, could the other storylines such as AW zombies, IW zombies, WW2 zombies and aspects of the old Aether story come together in some crazy multiversal arc? I know some people will think this is stupid, but at this point I feel like anything is possible.
It just doesn’t make sense because the whole point of Bo4 was to destroy the multiverse. Doesn’t really make sense to build up a multiverse arc, destroy the multiverse, then build another multiverse arc from that. Choas doesn’t have to be in a different multiverse or timeline to work, but some of its lore would need to be retconned/altered. Chaos story takes place before anything else in the new timeline. If anything, there is a good chance what was meant to happen in the Chaos storyline is revealed through lore and that is what lead to Vanguard and eventually Cold War and onward.
No this needs to stop before it becomes complicated for its one good. It's just adding random nonsense in a story element like at this point it's like a 5 year old playing with his toys. You never want to overlap all your stories into one big thing, because it will just get messy. and if Jason blundell was here right now he would say the same thing. He knew better to always have zombies as it's own thing, away from the campaign and multiplayer

After Nikolai destroys the multiverse and sets a new universe of only the dark either and the regular universe, a single new timeline emerges. Now even treyarch campaigns are in the same universe as zombies!
I feel like the new avalon map will be a huge map like tranzit but also cut into parts like bo2's tranzit with different locations on the map of avalon being different parts we play on like bus depot greenrun and town etc. I believe it being called a wz map for the next cod can be a possibility but since the story adds up with the map its more reasonable to say activision will be trying there best to bring that old cod feeling back with time.
I would love to see Paris map idea been brought back to BO6 Zombies as we didn't get it in BO1, there is a slight chance that we see discarded map ideas if BO6 really enters in this multiverse idea!
Here's what I think you're missing. Since the release, I've noticed a lot of emphasis on "Round Based Zombies". With cold war, we got outbreak along with round based. I think we're going to continue to get round based maps, and another outbreak style map on avalon.
In the Map Forsaken, you can find a Crystal that The Forsaken uses to tell you his story. One of the things he mentions is how he has consumed many GODS and DEMONS to get his power. So, chances are the Vanguard Demons got eaten.
I definitely think that for some reason Richtofen’s end game is to bring back Nikolai, Takeo, and Dempsey and restore the Aether, but he has to do it in ways that are seen as bad/evil in the player’s eyes. I also think that the Sam AI has been corrupted by The Forsaken and the Dark Aether and that’s why it’s not telling the entire truth to our new crew. I hope that somehow during BO6’s life cycle we get to learn the fate of Scarlett, Diego, Bruno, and Shaw or find out that after Ancient Evil they have somehow time traveled to the present day story
Unironically, bringing back Chaos would be sick asf. This dark aether story just isn't hitting, however people are nostalgic for chaos and want to see it continue as we were left on a pretty big cliffganger
My main hope is that we at least get to see what the end goal for Chaos was. I am sure it can be altered in a way that leads up into the current storyline, but I would love to see even just the spark notes of what Blundell had planned for the Chaos storyline.
It would be insane if the universe get broken into shamble and we see the return of Shadows of evil story because I genuienly loved that story and was so sad that it didnt continue
@@runman85 they've done it before, remaster maps from old games, they did it with WAW and BO3, De rise was remastered in a futuristic setting, same with Origins. They remastered it from BO2 to BO3, a WW2 Map keep in mind. So they can do it

I wouldnt say Chaos is cannon, better to say they reworked it so it works into the story. As its very unlikely any of the maps actually happened in the story. Overall im excited we are likely going to see fantasy related maps again. They tried with the “real world” aspect for maps and they just have not hit very well on many of them.

And for Liberty Falls you get a Skin for the Raygun and Aa calling card and second one if you beat it before guided mode
