Jarfs kits are amazing, but I have to say I have loved what you have been doing lately. Inter changing paper and fabrics, embroidery on paper, collaging with fabric on the cover, now this. Love love love. I cant wait to get this house done and moved because I'm jonesing for some journal making!!

These images are gorgeous. I am also a card maker, and as you were showing each page, I immediately envisioned how so many of these could be used on greeting cards, note card sets, or stationery. I love to get ideas from one type of crafting and find ways to use them in other ways. I look forward to seeing how you transform these lovely images into the completed project.

Oh my dear you are going to be hard on my pocketbook! I do enjoy watching you and get inspired to work daily on my own! This weekend was super productive (when I wasn’t sitting watching videos!) I just started with a book from 1850 and finding it hard to use it because I am a book lover, especially old books. The pages are perfect but a bit brittle. Have a wonderful week!

I have found certain Medieval Mirage papers also compliment Rachel's Italian kits. Both have an old world charm about them. And then add laces, fabrics and Florentine papers . . . like Rachel adds to her projects. Thanks for sharing your work and stories about life in Italy.

That'd be a great name for a youtube channel: Getting my lacey on lately !!! : ) A few weeks ago one of my neighbors asked me what I was doing to prep for "the virus." I replied: bought 1000 sheets of presentation paper and a case of printer ink. Ha, ha she laughed, and said: No, seriously ... And I replied: Yes, seriously. I always listen to my inner psychic crafter." For some reason she gave me a strange look and went about her business (I was watering my front yard plants and she came over). But, I was so worried about paper, I forgot about the glue !!! We live in an area with two Amazon warehouses, so I lucked out. Instead of two-day delivery (which sometimes it's same day or next day), it's going to take five -- I ordered on the 3rd, and they estimated delivery on the 8th -- which I'm not complaining about one bit. Some employees of one of the warehouses staged a protest that they were overworked and working in unsafe (too close quarters) working conditions. I'm guilty of praying for our leaders to make wise decisions, for a treatment at least in the coming weeks that could at least stave off death -- it's "young" people in our area -- between 30 and 40 -- who are dying -- But it's also all these people behind the scenes -- the post office employees, the garbage men (we treat ours like the kings they are !!!) -- store clerks -- delivery drivers -- the nameless who work in what can be dangerous conditions while the only thing we have to do is stay home and be well -- sorry; didn't mean to rant -- but if you've read any of my other comments ... ha -- but I still love what you wrote : )

Feel blessed she’s no working. We’re in a small country town on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia an only one known person with the virus I feel so much for what’s happening. Where are you? I know you worry about your son -- I have "strange" beliefs, but it's my very strong belief that every single child on this earth is a precious gift from God, and each time a child is born it's a sign that God still has hope for us yet. "Birth" in the time of Covid-19 can only be a joyous occasion. Hug on that baby for me -- and smell it -- often. Hello from Richmond, VA in the United States -- I don't know if you've been doing any of the 5 prompts, but one of them was "a group of three" and so I pasted a picture I found of the 70's rock group "Three Dog Night," -- which I just loved growing up -- I'm 63 -- and now I can't get that song: "Well, I've never been to Spain" .... outta my head !!! I got that album for my 16th birthday -- In 2018 I was making plans to travel to Spain in Sept. to fulfill my life-long desire to "Walk El Camino." But I'm old and disabled, and I was going to ride my bike -- well, buy a bike there; couldn't see paying a thousand bucks to ship over a $200 bike !! -- I'm not Catholic, but I'm from a very small town and when I learned of it after I turned 20, and I used to run 5 miles most days until about age 40 -- although I had changed from running to walking about 2 miles every other day or so at that time -- I was later diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, but riding my bike here was great exercise and I was trying to build up to riding 10 miles a day -- but then in March I had to have major surgery -- nothing life threatening, but to fix something -- and so by the time I was able to start riding my bike again -- it was summer and 100-degree days, and I had lost so much by being inactive from surgery -- and 2019 passed so quickly, and in August I almost got run over by this crazy woman speeding in a parking lot (car park), I literally jumped off my bike with seconds before she ran right overtop my bike -- and kept driving -- I was in the proper lane waiting for the traffic light -- needless to say, it killed my beautiful pink bike !! So now I'm hoping 2021 will be the year -- I watch the videos of people who are walking, and your country is so incredibly beautiful -- and everything I've read over the years about the friendliness of everyone -- so I've been saving my scallop shell, hoping some day we both make it to Spain -- I don't speak spanish, but God keep you and all those you know and love safe in this terrible time of "the virus." I LOVE these fabric embellishments. I have been redeployed today in to ITU until ? who knows when?- I NEVER dreamt I'd be in that position- I hope ALL our infection rates soon come down . No worries -- I was sitting there admiring all of your pretty things as well. Also, no worries on video length -- where are we going, besides a little insane? My son made a successful TP run to Target -- an 8-roll pack of 2-ply "soft." I did a happy dance -- and; I love this -- Target restricted purchase to one per customer, so there is enough for all -- what does it say for your society when Target becomes your social conscience? Ha. It's funny, I actually put a handful of Elmer's office glue sticks in your package -- because I got them super cheap on Amazon and I really like them; except they do not hold fabric as well as yours seems to, but holds it enough that I can sew around like a tag later -- they're the smaller size ones; not the big ones like you have - but I thought you could give them a try, and then I talked myself out of it saying: No, she really likes her Gotto glue. But I've also heard good things about the Prit stick -- I just like saying the name. I also just bought another 24-pack of the Elmer's and a 3 pack of the Aleene's tacky glue, which is the tacky pva -- it's a dollar per 4 oz bottle and Amazon delivers in 2 days for free with prime. This order is taking a few days longer, estimated delivery on the 8th, but I'm not complaining. I hope Italy's #s begin to show a sharp decrease. Your country is brave, Her people resilient. I'm not Catholic, but every time I think of the priests who turned their churches into morgues I pray and shed a few tears. You can survive a few more weeks of lock down. And .... when your husband is done cleaning your house, send him on over to mine !!! You guys should just turn on AC/DC and just dance !!!

Wendy, I had to look it up, too -- I'll paste what I read on google, but it's basically the hard or solid cardboard (I usually use the front or back cover of a book I gut for the pages, and decorate and tuck them into a pocket on the last page; I didn't know they had names -- ha), but that you can insert under a page so you can journal on it -- from google: What is a journal dashboard?
Dashboards are one of the easiest and fun ways to personalize your journal. It is basically a divider that will slip in behind your inserts that can be used for functionality and decoration.Jan 16, 2018 pageflutter.com/travelers-notebook-dashboards/
It's a harder board used to put in between pages so the lumpy bits don't bother you when writing. Thank you so much!
