Hii here to explain some lore!! So HongJoong has said Halazia is set as a spinoff to their main story so it's assumed that this takes place in a world different to world A and Z. I hadn't thought of this until you mentioned it but at first i used to think the ppl leading the resistance in this world wasn't ateez or any doppelganger version of them either and ateez were just ppl living in this world, affected by the lack of emotions and freedom of expression like any other citizen, and according to the prologue video for Halazia, the actual leaders were captured they would never return (probably killed hence the scarecrow). With people in despair, begging for a new savior, the ateez from that universe steps up and become the new leaders. I always seemed to ignore the chromer (hourglass) until you pointed it out to me and now it's making me think this spin off is a lot more similar to the original story than i thought. A version of ateez (from world A or another, who knows at this point) were transported to this Halazia world by the chromer cause the Ateez in that world need their help. Unfortunately for them, things don't go to plan and resistance ateez are captured (possibly killed), the chromer breaks and the ateez who came to help are stuck there forever. This also kinda fits with my headcanon that the Wooyoung in this video is part of the resistance ateez and is the only one who survived cause he's alone on the rooftop holding the fedora hat and is seen burning it like he's moving on from it the same way they burn the scarecrow to show they're the new leaders of the resistance. (idk okay I love this story so much. I'm too invested. To quickly explain the floating black ball, i assume its a representation of the people's emotions/feelings. It was drifting away symbolizing how people were ready to give up hope, but Ateez brought it back down and it crashing down on San releases it, freeing the emotions (i wouldn't say once and for all but yeah they're free) The album halazia is on has something about a Witness in the title so i assume the people watching at the very end of the mv are the Witnesses. What do they do? i have no clue. And to end it off yeah you were right about Hala meaning (hearts awakened, live alive). ZIA means light. so the lyric "be the light, oh halazia" really fits with the theme of wanting to live alive with your heart awakened instead of feeling dead inside with no emotions and needing that light of hope to push you forward. Okay this is long enough, I hope this answers some questions! (also i very much love Mingi with short hair and Halazia was Yeosang and Seonghwa's era, i will accept zero arguments against that)

You got the first part right HALA is “Hearts Awaken Live Alive” while ZIA is latin for “LIGHT”
