Good video! The Detech 15" for my Simplex+ is arriving here tomorrow. I can't find many video reviews on it, but I'm sure excited to give it a try! I sure hope it's good, it cost the same amount as the basic retail for the detector itself! It reminds me of my younger years... investing in a car stereo system worth more than the car for which it was being installed! 😆 🤣
Haha, that really made me laugh & reminded me of my younger self doing the same with my battered Ford!! I’m sure you will love the 15”, it’s a beast (as is the 13”) and I’ve heard good things about it. You may find yourself digging bigger plugs for a while but you’ll soon zero in on the targets! Great video, just got my Detect coil, day one and wow it goes deep, and I was super impressed that it identified a lump of iron with a 1921 silver sixpence, heard the grunts iron sound but with a very clear second tone. Glad I dug them now. Still trying to hone into the sweet spot on the coil, but no doubt it will come in time.

Mate we share the same enthusiasm I'm always happy when I find a coin and you know I love a buckle. I like that little bit of lead train that was cool I'd love to see a complete one.

@@adam69ify I absolutely loved this coil Adamo. You can cover loads of ground, pinpointing was easy for such a large coil, it wasn't heavy & it was deep! It quickly became my 'go to' coil with the Simplex & founds loads with it!

Nice one Marcus what is a day out without a handful of odd shaped lead 😂, I really enjoy finding the Georgian coins I don't know why people don't as it is still really cool history! It seems I need to work on my logo, it seems everyone else has one!!😂
I'll never get bored of finding Georgian coins mate, and thank my lucky stars that we get to detect in a country with such rich history! Haha, I think your channel photo works perfectly well mate - for some reason I just presumed I needed a logo when I started out, and luckily had my family crest picture - so just used that! Well done mate some nice bits there. Nice kg3 an the other coin maybe a william it looks thick. Got to dig them high numbers mate my dig sunday that vicky shilling was 91 92 about 6in down an my kg3 full penny was 91 to 95 an was 10in down. Cant wait as got detech on way tomorrow paid 135 on ebay 😁👍 be finding more deeper stuff

Its natural that you would miss a lot of targets with the Nokta elliptical coil, yet find them easy with the Detek. Far superior ground coverage and depth with the latter. I priced that coil from a dealer in Australia.... $320 AUD + freight. Considering a Simplex is $475, i cannot justify getting that coil. Hope the weather clears up for you sooner than later 🍺👍🇦🇺

Your oval piece with the square hole in it looks like the bolster of a knife, the tang would have gone through the square oval. IMO
