🌷 In today's studio vlog, I need a reset! The summer months are nearly over making way for autumn and I am ready to get back to work and back into the swing of things
🌷 First we package some orders ready for a restock shop launch
🌷 I then attempt to organise and tidy my studio space hehe
🌷 And finally send off for my halloween gaming mousemat!

The way you just saved my life with the pen tool + text trick. Wow 😂 I always used to write straight and then use the transform and warp tool!!!! 😭

I have a similar sofa in my studio. I painted mine teal with Montana 94 spraypaint. It's incredible how well the leather it's holding up to any cracks ect, it's as good as any leather paint I've ever used.
I love the sofa with the throw blanket and cushions, it looks soft cosy.

One way to use it is have different layers say if your doing clothes, and you can change it so it all blends nicely when you find the right colour to go with the overall illustration! This is how I try get my colours cohesive or make things pop! ❤

that mouse mat is SUPER cute!!!! if you wouldn't mind me asking but.....would you please make a full tutorial on how you design your mouse mats?
I basically just illustrate it on Procreate and then the rest is exactly what I do right here ❤ 🎀🌷 hehe ❤ I do set my canvas up to be at least 300 dpi and have the canvas size to be the exact size of the actual mousemat! ❤
Congrats on getting a collaboration with Adobe! I do not like their subscription - model so I have gone to Affinity, but for a business like yours it makes sense with Adobe.

I did a drawing of the rooms of the house I moved into and measured the furniture and created shapes with those measures and moved them around to find the best placement. Maybe that would help you figure out where to put your stuff as well?

i understand you guys needing sponsors to run the channel but adobe in itself is a company that is not for artists, considering it scraped a lot of creators works for their ai,evene after people like loisch sorry im not sure how to spell their name, told them to remove their works and they added them right back into it. I really love your channel katnipp and i know you mean well for the community but i just wanted to let you know as there are ongoing lawsuits right now too involving them and some other companies who have done these same stuff

I have been using adobe photoshop since I was a child 🥲 it would be disingenuous for me to say this is something I don’t use when I actively use this daily for designs it’s one of the foundational corner stones for running my business honestly and has been for a very long time
When I did my research on adobe and AI they actually seem like they are trying to make good progress with only using royalty free works to train it, but I will say AI needs more laws and regulations around it regarding artists and I feel like we are slowly getting there but it’s all so new it’s a mess at the moment 😅, they say they don’t use customers files or art to train their ai according to their statements, and I am still a user actively of photoshop and really love their product and have for a while
A few people have mentioned to me about certain software like adobe using AI to help the user experience, can you guys let people know of another software as well you recommend, because at this point I think most brands are trying to incorporate this in someway, and I’ve yet to find a tool for designers that doesn’t?
Anyway I seen that some people are angry with me and seem to think I use AI in my works, well I don’t 😅 so please don’t just read random comments and make a quick judgement
I mentioned when I first discovered ai art that it was cool for concept art work or inspiration for a mood or vision board ONLY , however since then I have stopped using it in my work flow, I hope this helps clarify and clear things up ❤
Again I’m happy with photoshop and have enjoyed using their tools and services for a very long time and I stick by that ❤

@@kabocha_soranope 😅❤ I am not sure where this has come from 😂 I did mention I think once or twice last year that when I first discovered it I thought it was so cool for mood and vision boarding (like concept art) however I have stopped using this in my work flow now and went back to my traditional mood boarding method ❤ I’ve never used it in my actual work ❤
