Same here!! While I don’t teach crochet and church, I do a little “class” for my mom and her friends (my mom Is 86)……. We all watch Crystal together ❤️🙏🏼 My moms best friend always says “are we going to watch our friend today, what stitch are we going to do?? ?” (That’s what she calls Crystal, our friend) it’s very sweet! Several Of my moms friends have had strokes and so the crochet that we are doing, is really good for their recovery (hand and eye coordination)…

Using Big twist carousel in Amethyst, her favorite colors. Very soft. Bought more yarn at JoAnns sale yesterday to make hats for Christmas gifts. Big Twist was 2.57 Crazy. Got some sale Eddie Bauer Got a beautiful cotton K&C essential Cotton to try out. Feels nice. We’ll see. My SIL asked me how I know so much about yarns and their weights and how I can tell by looking at them what they are and what their weights are. I told her I've been attending the school of Bagoday Crochet. Crystal's class of yarnology. Now she's attending your classes too. I share similar tastes in yarns, but I do knit, lol. I have a wall or two of expression fiber arts yarns. She's my fav hand dyed companies out there.

Hi Crystal, just what I needed to brighten a miserable day, yarn and more yarn. Dealing with the government can be a nightmare at times but, I'm thinking positively that it will work out. Everyone please think good thoughts that I get it reinstated. Like the colors of the cotton but, haven't knitted with cotton in years. That bag looks really nice, and might try knitting a bag one day. Not quite as big though. Oh the sequin yarn is really nice, and goes well with the bag straps with the gold ones. Like the Lion Brand Hometown, did a cowl and matching hat in white for a friend for church.

I started crocheting again 18 months ago and when I showed my 24 yo NYC girl the granny square sweater I made she said “I want one. It so on trend.” I’m riding this way as long as I can. I just made a polo button shirt for my 29 yo son and he has worn it. My husband said “it’s not for me?” When I asked him to try it on. So working one for him now. still can’t believe my kids like what I’m creating right now. Not sure how long this will last but I’m gonna keep going until I’m not trendy anymore.

Crystal, I am continually amazed at how much knowledge you have in stitches and yarn and and and…. You truly had a teacher who really cared about not just teaching you but also teaching you how to continue on and teach yourself and others!!! Although my gramma thought me as a child, and her love of crochet definitely helped us be close and have reasons for me to go to gramma’s without my siblings, she was a big softie and let me choose when to quit or start on something else. So I never became as proficient as her. But since finding you years ago I have become so much more confident in my abilities. So now the love and the ability almost match…lol Thanks for being you!!!!! I think the slate with the rainbow 🌈 would be super cool, it reminds me of the days that we get to see rainbows… with clouds and sun and rain 🌧️ all in a day….

Hi crystal. Just wanted to say I have found that new yarn Bernat lattice at Jo-Ann's. I happen to love it. I'm not a fan of the fuzzy yarn. So far I'm working with it and no fuzz yay. Not sure what you mean by blanket yarn I know this yarn is kind of heavy. But it is so so soft! I for one am planning to buy more lots more I really love it

I love the slate color with the rainbow! Just the perfect shade of gray. Softer, like the rainbow colors. A darker gray wouldn’t look as soft or rich.

I have been to Chartres in France and The leaded glass windows there are done with grey lead, I like it! The black pops,but the grey is authentic!

This was a great video. It took me down memory lane with redheart yarns. I love Mary Maxim mystery bags. Discovered them thru you. My SIL asked me how I know so much about yarns and their weights and how I can tell by looking at them what they are and what their weights are. I told her I've been attending the school of Bagoday Crochet. Crystal's class of yarnology. Now she's attending your classes too. I share similar tastes in yarns, but I do knit, lol. I have a wall or two of expression fiber arts yarns. She's my fav hand dyed companies out there.

Hi Crystal, just what I needed to brighten a miserable day, yarn and more yarn. Dealing with the government can be a nightmare at times but, I'm thinking positively that it will work out. Everyone please think good thoughts that I get it reinstated. Like the colors of the cotton but, haven't knitted with cotton in years. That bag looks really nice, and might try knitting a bag one day. Not quite as big though. Oh the sequin yarn is really nice, and goes well with the bag straps with the gold ones. Like the Lion Brand Hometown, did a cowl and matching hat in white for a friend for church.

It is my dream to have my kids request a crochet item from me. I’ve made them blankets and it was like pulling teeth just asking them what colors they would like! So excited for you Crystal , making a project with your son helping in designing it! 🥰💙🤗
I started crocheting again 18 months ago and when I showed my 24 yo NYC girl the granny square sweater I made she said “I want one. It so on trend.” I’m riding this way as long as I can. I just made a polo button shirt for my 29 yo son and he has worn it. My husband said “it’s not for me?” When I asked him to try it on. So working one for him now. still can’t believe my kids like what I’m creating right now. Not sure how long this will last but I’m gonna keep going until I’m not trendy anymore.

Although my gramma thought me as a child, and her love of crochet definitely helped us be close and have reasons for me to go to gramma’s without my siblings, she was a big softie and let me choose when to quit or start on something else.
So I never became as proficient as her. But since finding you years ago I have become so much more confident in my abilities. So now the love and the ability almost match…lol

So awesome that your son wants a shirt made by you. My son loves it when I make him stuff. The crochet stuff is really coming back. I see a little of the younger generation wearing stuff that is crocheted.
I simply cannot wait for that shirt pattern to be available. Everything about it is wonderful and that your son wants it, is a massive compliment. I have loved making cardis for my daughter and my daughter in law and feel so good when I see them wearing it. I personally would put a navy with that lovely rainbow yarn, but as you say, you do you. Hi crystal. Just wanted to say I have found that new yarn Bernat lattice at Jo-Ann's. I happen to love it. I'm not a fan of the fuzzy yarn. So far I'm working with it and no fuzz yay. Not sure what you mean by blanket yarn I know this yarn is kind of heavy. But it is so so soft! I for one am planning to buy more lots more I really love it
