If I had a nickel for every time LRR wrote a sketch about their staff hallucinating due to noxious gas, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but I'm glad it happened twice.
I don't think I've said this yet but I love Ben's earnestness in things. He's so excited to be out there every time. I mean this as a compliment: he reminds me of my dog, Murray who is SO PROUD when he gets on the kitchen table and sleeps on folded laundry.
@@loadingreadyrun I keep meaning to. I saw the first episode of Heat Death on the VOD and blanked for most of it while playing Destiny 2 and saw most of the Paranoia campaign. I should finish that tomorrow.
I'm assuming ceiling egg is played thus: - Each team has a designated thrower and catcher. - Each team has one carton of eggs. The size and quality of the eggs is up to the teams. - Each carton must have atleast 10 eggs, using a larger carton is not standard, but offers some advantages as per follows. - The thrower tries to throw the egg as close to the ceiling as possible, without making contact. - The catcher has to catch the egg with the carton, starting with an empty one. The egg is then added to the carton. - Points based on proximity to ceiling and on how many free spots on the carton the team has. - If you crack an egg, that's a point deduction and the egg is not placed in the carton. Boiled eggs are right out! - First team to get a "Carton", aka fill all spots, wins. To combat the cracked eggs, the team can have up to 5 backup eggs. Just a wild guess.
So, Ben's the Fighter, Heather's the rogue, Beej is the cleric and Paul's the wizard... Could've sworn I thought Ben was the Bard before the fight. I really like his singing, okay?
Appreciate y'all pointing out other aspects of DnD that could feasibly have the muscle of the party to be talented in singing. What I wanted to say is my first impression was WAY off and the episode took an unexpected turn. Almost a beej-drop level of unexpected, actually.
Forgotten realms canonically exist in the same universe as earth and they were in the past quite well known in earth as a place, but then they were forgotten ( that's why they are called forgotten realms).
Thank you so much for still making and posting this video. I just got sick with the virus myself and will now need to fully self quarantine myself. Thank you for the laughs your Troupe always brings even in the darkest of times.
What an eggcellent episode. The yolks were well laid out, I couldn't eggnore any of them. Very hard to beat. I hope heather buries her hatch-it though. Oof, all those puns made me egghausted. I hope you guys will omelett it slide. Did I crack you up?
(Beej's perfect announcer voice) The competition's really BOILING up in this year's Ceiling egg invitational, The West Victoria team has POACHED the lead from second place, leaving the other teams SCRAMBLING for headway. The other teams are HASHING out how to get back in the game, but can they CRACK the West Victoria team's defense, or will they FRY trying? One thing's for certain! It won't... ... be OVER, EASY.
Presumably. The bog was also mentioned in the episode where Paul and James didn't want to upload a file and so were arguing over which of them lived closer to the moonbase. The File, I believe was the episode title.
I hit a weird mental block around Ceiling Egg. On the one hand I really want to figure out how that game is played/makes any sense. On the other hand I really don't want to ruin the mystery because I assume any actual explanation will be less entertaining than it's unexamined potential. Like an egg unhatched this game is pure potential. Do not explain ceiling egg to me but instead let it incubate in the mind where it may or may not hatch.
One: I fucking love all of you. Every single one of you. My grin actually hurts now and I love it. Please never change. Two: If Ben had played the big brother in Onward, I would have cared about missing it in theatres. In fact, now I'm going to compare the two and I'm sure Chris Pratt will come up short.

Me: are they getting beat up by a tiny squirrel?
I played Final Fantasy 5... Sorry to say, but Ben is definitely about to die.
cant wait for the next hustle where there's only one person in each shot and the camera doesn't move at all because they had to shoot each scene alone
to be fair there was that one where they all Telecommuted in each room - anything is possible

I am with James in this too when I heard the puns :
Obligatory *groan*
Couldn'a typed it better myself!
Loved the hallucination gas bit but I really expected a return of the bear and shark larp from season 1
Maul.....Maul....Maul.....Maul
Was anyone else hoping for a callback to the Shark LARPers from cHustle Season 1?
Glad I'm not the only one whose mind went there. :)
I was about to comment on a missed opportunity for a very deep cut
Fully expecting it.
Bite mawl bite mawl
yeah, that was my first thought too! kinda was that style of throwback in its own way :)
Not gonna lie, when the squirrel skeleton man first appeared, I genuinely thought it was going to be one of our old friends the sharks (:

Please let Murray be a St Bernard.
This made me realize I'd watch the heck out of an LRR D&D show.
May I interest you in Dice Friends? It’s that! And all the VODs are on this channel!
On that note, patiently awaiting the return of Heat Death as I understand why it's on hold but cannot wait for more.

why is there a point system if they dont serve any purpose in winning?
@@Bethorien Because it's ceiling egg, ofcourse.
I thought two people threw an egg at the ceiling and whoever’s egg stayed on the longest won
Hope everyone stayed safe while producing this. Also still sad to see Alex off the credits.
TheEmperorGulcasa what happened to Alex
@@dizzyfish1380 Alex is fine. He;s just stepped away from some LRR content (including cHustle) to make comics.
This was all filmed several weeks ago.

James, you Micromanaged so hard you became a DM.
So apparently Forgotten Realms gods exist in the LRNiverse?
Forgotten realms canonically exist in the same universe as earth and they were in the past quite well known in earth as a place, but then they were forgotten ( that's why they are called forgotten realms).
That was also the explanation for some of the gods being from random Earth pantheons. They basically got bored and wandered over.
@@ImpudentInfidel not only earth deities. The Mulhollandy are literally Egyptians and nobanion is quite literally Aslan from narnia
God I miss this show.
1:00 gotta love that "egg" in french is the greatest sounding word of all time
Why does a frenchman only need one egg to make an omlette? Because one egg is un oeuf!
And it's misspelled (it's œuf. Easy to remember the order of the letters because there's a ligature).
I hope we get more cH sometime in the future. Honestly one of the best written series on the internet.
Was that Mark Rosewater's squirel costume? That looked an awful lot like MaRo's squirel costume from the Unstable PPR.
I guess it’s technically our costume that Mark wore but yeah
@@loadingreadyrun That makes much more sense. Thanks!
This commodoreHustle has the best ending, it's absolutely one of my favourites.
This feels like some sort of heavily modded DnD 5e campaign that evolved into a bad larp session.
I do hope they bring this back once Moonbase Mk. VI is active. And I hope the first episode has like an anime "time skip".
Good news Meej
Alexa what is Ceiling Egg? How to bet on Ceiling Egg. Is Ceiling Egg legal in California?
It's been a year (and a day) now since the last cHustle and I miss these guys.
