Badass box, I like that lotus. I guess the card I'm most excited to run from that is underworld dreams because I mine are out of Legends so it's funny to see the look on people's faces when you're in a standard tourney and drop a card from an ancient set like that
I'm definitely looking forward to playing Hydra's Growth. This is my first look at the Theros cards, I wanted to see the cards first hand when i get my box. but i love your openings so much. I couldn't help but watch, lol. But Hydra's Growth is the first card that sticks out to me that i could see using in standard and probably even my Yarok, The Desecrated, Commander deck just because. why not? Haha. Hell of an opening dude, love the content as always! Thryx is another one i'm pretty excited to play. i feel like there's a lot of opportunity for a powerful Simic deck with Thryx. Tectonic Giant looks pretty useful in multiplayer because of the 3 damage from each opponent ability. Put that in an Izzet deck with portal of sanctuary and that's already a pretty lethal strategy
As a new player looking to get into MTG, I'm having a lot of fun looking at and reading all of the cards in this set :) .
Hey Joey, I actually went to the prerelease last night. Not my first, but it’s the first time I actually placed in one, I didn’t get any amazing pulls from the packs, but the deck functioned well. My preordered boxes on the other hand, within the first 1/3 of the box I pulled a foil Showcase Klothys and a foil Elspeth. Since then I’ve also pulled 2 Showcase Nyleas, a Showcase Purphoros, a borderless Ashiok, a borderless Calix, and plenty of other amazing pulls. So far I am very satisfied with this set
Also, the card I’m most excited to play, as a commander player, is Nyxbloom Ancient
I cant believe how huge your channel has grown. I started watching you in 2017 when you only had around a 1k subs and you were one of the people who inspired me to start a card opening channel of my own. I started watching you for the Walmart cubes back in the day. Great job of the growth!

Prerelease was crazy for me honestly. Shadowspear and Foil Nyxbloom ancient in my kit, so Ibuilt gruul-stompy. I went 4/6, and pulled Uro from my win packs. Bought a box and pulled 1 more Uro, a Heliod, Klothys, Kroxa, and Extended art Ashiok in my box. Traded my second Uro for a Showcase Thassa.

This was actually my first pre-release where I got to play! I pulled a constellation Nylea and then bought a box.
I only won one game haha!
My first prerelease was War of the Spark. I bought the kit, and I worked at 12:30 AM so I left immediately XD

That Protean Thaumaturge is an alternate for quasiduplicate, which gives an idea to make a deck based on Lazav, Protean thaumaturge, mirror march, quasiduplicate, spark double, and copy stuff. and mix it with Yarok and ETB triggers for the funny photocopy deck.
Bought a booster box as well and got the alt art klothys foil and the regular art non foil. A few of the other gods and demigods. I am in love with this set.
My and my best friend is going to prerelease. We are not that good, but its still a lot of fun! 😃

I most likely will get those lands as Mana pool cards and maybe alter the name and type away to write Mana-Pool in the mittle so they won't confuse anyone. I often lay dies on the basics to track mana of the color from that basic.

Card quality looks better than the last few sets. Edges look more crisp and surface looks smoother than previous recent sets. Im happy about that. Now i just need to figure out what i want to buy

Really awesome box! I got a prize pack at my pre-release yesterday, and I actually pulled the Rakdos titan along with a foil Dryad of Ilysian Grove in that one prize pack! Not as good as the Simic one, but I'll take it! Congrats on your box, and may you open many more awesome packs! ^_^

Cool thing about denial its counters totally hydroid krasis if they don't let 4 mana untapped for drawing the cards and gaining the life, and you still counter the creature
thassa is a "blink" effect, blink returns them immediately, "flicker" returns them at end of turn ;)

To help with opening packs watch how mtg unpacked does it, hold the pack backwards and rip to the left awat from the pack

Mine is a little combo of Nyx Lotus and Nyxbloom Ancient on a mono green deck. Can you imagine? Disgusting.
Went to 2. 1 Friday night and 1 Saturday at noon. Pulled the kora saga and took people to pound town when I got it out won 6 out of 10 games. 2 and 2 match wise.
Being as I mainly play commander, I'm most excited for nyxbloom ancient, I have a xenagos deck that cheats out creatures and that card is just redonkulous. I play tested it and literally exceeded 30 mana helping me draw into an infinite combo of savage ventmaw and aggravated assault. Good game all

The most hyped card of the set for me is Uro titan of nature's wrath because i'm Lready building a commander deck with it! It's a super complex/harder to achieve commander but the value is incredible!

The non foil in the bab promo pack is an error made by wizards, they’ve released a message a few weeks ago that stores would get te foil lands to distribute them to their players and people who buy boxes

The Nyx lands are the best lands MTG has ever printed and I will be getting a metric ton of them personally.

It's supposed to be a rare. And since you already pulled a foil rare in this booster box another one should not be possible/extremely rare right?
