I've only heard this once before; seeing the players and such really helps me appreciate this work much more.Love, Laughter, Love
A brilliant performance of this exuberant music.
Love Ligeti!!
I saw him at Rice University circa 1993 when he was Director of the Houston Symphony orchestra. Very underrated conductor.
Am currently a freshman there!
I agree. I should listen to more of Christoph's performances, this one and one of a cello concerto were really good.
amazing
Wow excellent
Confesso que não compreendo bem essa música. Só a escuto porque é curativa.

You’re right lmao
"I'm sorry, Dave... I'm afraid I can't do that..."
Sehr sorgfältige Leistung dieses anspruchsvollen Meisterstücks mit perfekt synchronisierten Töne aller Instrumente. Ausgezeichnetes Orchester!

1:40 - 2:00 to beautiful chord3:30 maybe slow4:05 like this
You broke your glass of wine! Wait, what who is that in your bed?

The sound of heaven and hell.
This would be the greatest metal song ever if converted to extremely distorted guitar with 2 guitars that volume swell.I can imagine it so clearly and it is mind blowing.
And he was thinking in hungarian :)
nothing like plugging your ears on stage haha th-cam.com/video/E-bemE-bCXQ/w-d-xo.html
I get what he is trying to do but basically he is asking humans to emulate electronic instruments.
Whats wrong with that, as I would rather hear acoustic instruments used for this music.
I didn´t say there was anything wrong with it.
That's precisely what he intended, as he was not satisfied with the capabilities of electronic instruments at the time and turned to orchestral means
Very few electronic instruments existed in 1961 when this piece was composed.
