- Soundbytes: Vice President Sara Duterte can "step down" if she is no longer interested in performing her duties and functions, according to a Vice Chairperson of the House Committee on Appropriations, citing her repeated absence in the budget deliberations of the House of Representatives.

- that is literally called NANGGAGALAITI maka sagot lang ang VP para gisain politically. The VP is already expressed her side to give the congress more lay way to adjust her budget.
- YOU ARE WRONG ! You, in Congress must DO YOUR JOB to make annual budget because you are the power of the purse [ That is your DUTY to enact BUDGET ] that is NOT an OBLIGATION on the part of the VP to attend as long as she present it all the legal requirements needed and leave it to the discretions of the House. She is satisfied whatever the house gives, and that is a GREAT respect of the Vice President to the House of crocs.
- The VP is also working on her duty, in fact she already attend the first committee hearing of her budget, clearly she complied partially, then submitted all the pertinent papers with respect to the proposed budget of her office for the 2025. But you cannot discounted her WISDOM why she refused to attend anymore the succeeding hearing of her budget until the plenary.
I think you, in Congress must ENACT a LAW FORCING a HEAD of an AGENCY or his duly authorized person to ATTEND the PLENARY HEARING during the budget deliberation or else it will constitute a Culpable violation of constitution and oath of office.
