Hello Professor Wickham,
While measuring the profile of a free form surface we take space points, So for a point if the profile shows -0.08 deviation do i consider it against the direction of arrow of the Y or do i consider it -ve against the direction of the arrow of the space point?
I am stuck on it and your response will help me a lot

I think it is. But have used lines as needed.

You could have recalled feature points for your plane 4 and 5 since you already had the data from your outer scan. I'm sure you know that, but for all the people learning reading these comments.
