- In this Battlefront 2 video, I check out a mod that completely overhauls Star Wars Battlefront 2 for the Clone Wars Era. This mod overhauls Battlefront 2 by adding new weapons, star cards, abilities, heroes, and reinforcements for players to use on the PC version of Star Wars Battlefront 2. This mod adds over 14 new heroes to the game, alongside a variety of new reinforcement classes for players to experience the clone wars. This video focuses on all of the latest additions to the light side (galactic republic). I will make a follow-up video on this mod, focusing exclusively on the new additions to the Darkside. This mod is a lot of fun and very easy to set up, so I would highly recommend that you check this mod out through the link below. This was played offline in an instant action game, and this mod cannot be used for online multiplayer games in Star Wars Battlefront 2 (unless it's compatible with the kyber community servers). I loved this game but it's still so crazy to me how bad EA and Dice dropped the ball with it. Remember that mf BB-8 was added as a hero, while amazing characters like Ahsoka, Cody, Rex, Aayla, Kit Fisto, Plo Koon, Mace Windu, Ventress, etc. never got added. And I will still never forgive them for nerfing Boba Fett's Jetpack ability so bad

I checked this mod out, and I think having all the different chars and new weapons is awesome, but I feel like the weapons and ai are not very balanced. Love the selection of characters to play and the old battlefront weapons are awesome, but specifically, the blue orb launcher from the original BF2 you have 3 shots, with a long period between shots, and you have to wait for them to use their whole magazine before reloading. Very annoying. Also the magnaguards are veeeeeery OP and they are not fun to fight.
How is named the mod. Because when I open the link there is no side founding. Is this mod still available?
If I remember right it was called battlefront 3 or battlefront 2 clone wars, I don't believe that exact mod is still available but there is a newer version available (I think it's also called battlefront 3) @carl9554

Kinda odd that the Magna Guard is just thrown in there as a hero.
They went toe to toe with Kenobi and Anikan
@@mystxk___6964 and the Droidekas from Episode 1 went toe to toe with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, and even made 2 Jedi *run for their life*. Clearly THEY should also be heroes then.
No, that’s not how it works. You can’t just have a nameless unit be considered a “hero”. There was a reason that they never made named Arc Trooper or Clone Commando skins like Rex, Wulff, Thorn, Gregor, or the Delta Squad Members. Because those are named characters and would’ve been better as heroes.

@@mystxk___6964 the point is that just because a Droid can go toe to toe with the heroes, that doesn’t mean they should also be considered Hero worthy.
Heroes are characters. Characters with Names. Characters that are iconic.
Magnaguards, just like Droidekas, and B1/2/X Battle Droids, aren’t named. They just have unit numbers, because they’re robots.
Magna guards are not iconic CHARACTERS, are a type of character, but are not characters themselves.
You wouldn’t make a Droideka a hero, nor a Death Trooper a hero, or a First Order Jet Trooper one. So Magna Guards shouldn’t be classified as “Heroes” either, no matter how skilled and powerful they might be.
