It is far more comforting to see Woll has an equally solid partner to share the work with, to help avoid overwork for him that leads to injury. This looks to be an absolutely solid duo in net for the Leafs, and that is better than one star goaltender.
I love Berube's style. While I may not agree with every move he makes, I at least understand the why. With previous coach's it was always a WTF are they doing component.
Many games a goalie is only as good as the overall team defence, if the team keeps the odd man rushes down and keeps shots on the perimeter and out of the prime scoring areas, a goalie can maintain clear cut views, obviously he has to make those few outstanding saves but how the team plays in front of him is Huge. The leafs are back checking, the forwards are being accountable and that equals W's.
