Being a grandparent is a blessing gift. You get all the good parenting stuff and can delegate the bad stuff to the parents. It’s the most beautiful reward life gives you.
Absolutely awesome! From the age of 11 I was raised by my grandparents. Praying that the Lord blesses me to be a grandfather. Would be unbelievable to have someone look at me as I did them. What a blessing I had. God Bless this family! Awesome!
Time is such an interesting concept. Grandma and Grandpa had waited 3 years to see their granddaughter. But their granddaughter had been waiting her entire life to see them.

I wasn't able to meet my oldest granddaughter for years after she was born because my son's wife left him while she was expecting. I'm not sure of the reasons, but whatever the reason was between them. We don't judge either side because we don't know the circumstances. I'm sure her Mom felt a need to leave or she never would have. We didn't even know her name until she was almost two years old. We tried everything, but couldn't find her. My husband was finally able to reach her Mother & was able to talk with her. She agreed to let us meet our granddaughter for the first time! It was a feeling that I'll never be able to explain. Just seeing her beautiful face was the greatest blessing we've ever had. We were able to have several more visits with them at the park & having her put her hand in mine as we walked together was a precious treasure that I'll always have. We're not allowed to tell her that we're her grandparents, only that we're friends of her Mom. I'm okay with that because I know that one day she'll know who we are. She'll be five years old soon and her Mom again has cut off contact, except that we're allowed to send her cards or gifts. I don't ever hear back from her and don't even know if she's received them. I only pray that one day she'll know just how much she is loved by her grandparents and that we'll be able to show her that love. I miss her so much💔 I cried through this entire video because I feel the pain of that grandmother. I know that overwhelming feeling of love & joy that floods your heart, to be able to finally meet the one you've loved for so long. To be able to feel those sweet little arms around your neck. I just can't wait until the day that I hear her call me Grandma 💗

The grand-daughter knew her grandparents right away. Sometimes kids don't know how important this meeting would be. This little girl was right on the mark... everybody is happy!

It will always be a part of who you are, as it was my Uncle Lauren, as being a soldier will always be a part of my Dad and his little brother, as it was for my Moms brother and as being Seamen was part of bith of my grandfather who served in the Navy during WW2. I served Security Forces 1st Special Ops and I will always be an airman till my last breathe. After I retired, I started working armored truck service in Detroit MI and my partner, Damon Berry was infantry Marines in the 1st Gulf war and I was honored to work with him. my grandfather is a veteran of the 2nd world war, onal from the Nazis to Poland and Berlin. he was the kindest and most loving grandfather, I will never forget him!
