- I'm back! This time I am reviewing the new deluxe version of the original Five Nights at Wario’s. FNAW is a recurring series on this channel, so I figured I’d feature it even more! Let me know what your thoughts on Deluxe are in the comments!

Thanks for the review! :)
To answer the question about 4:3 aspect ratio: It's for several reasons. The rooms we use are mostly in this aspect ratio or something similar; making them 16:9 would either mean losing information on the top and bottom, or stretch them out - none of which would be good. It's also to pay homage to the original FNAF games that also are in 4:3
Wow! Thanks for watching and commenting Andy!
Honestly, it is completely understandable why it was kept at 4:3, since the images would be higher quality instead of being stretched out and looking weird.
Plus it is nice that it doubles as an homage to classic FNAF Fan Games.
What I'm really curious about is will FNAW 2 Deluxe and FNAW 3 Deluxe get new room designs?
The rooms are very nice looking but it's kind of outdated now, Plus some rooms in the games make 0 sense
FNAW 3 especially
one of my biggest gripes about the rooms in FNAW 3 is that the pictures don't really fit in the environment at all
One of the Biggest examples of this, is the Playroom
In the Playroom itself it doesn't look too bad but what bothers me is that the picture is in Broad Daylight when in reality it's suppose to be Dark at Night
Another thing about the rooms is that each room makes the house look a little weird
For example, The hallway... While it does have a disturbing feel to it, giving the players "I am not alone" vibes, but it doesn't really fit with how the house looks like
To me the hallway looks more like the entrance to the Cellar
If that was the intention behind it, then I could give it a pass since it is on night 4
Another room that has the same problem is... the bathroom.. Now I'm not fully sure on what the place is supposed to represent
the house seems to be a mansion, which if that's the case, why is the bathroom extremely small?
It looks like an unpopular gas station bathroom than a House Bathroom, especially than a Mansion Bathroom
I just feel like the bathroom is way too small for the environment (I mean come on, the toilet is pointing towards the SIDE of the sink)
all I'm saying is that if ALL the games are gonna be updated, I'm just hoping there's gonna be new rooms... Plus that can also give you access to 16:9 Ratio Aspect
now something else I'm curious about is if the gameplay is gonna change drastically
FNAW 1 Deluxe's gameplay is WAY different than the regular FNAW 1
and I am wondering if the other games will have the same treatment
While some Gameplay mechanics are pretty good, others are pretty repetitive and can get a bit tedious fast
either that or can be exploited
FNAW 2 for example
it was founded by TheGameSalmon that you can stay in the backroom the entire night
If i were the one developing the game i would add in a character in the back that will only attack if you're in the backroom for way too long
This could give someone like Yoshi a chance to shine in FNAW 2 besides being just an Easter Egg as well as making the game less exploitable
FNAW 3 some of the rooms in the game are either really repetitive, too easy, WAY too difficult or exploitable
First Living Room 1
Yes it IS the easiest night out of all of them but it would be nice to give the player a reason to use the cameras
it can also be exploited by just looking to the right the entire night and wait for Wario to pop up in the mirror
1 more character would make night 1 a little less boring and exploitable, specifically a character on the right
next we have the bathroom, while we have an interesting idea on paper, the execution isn't really that great
Like Night 1, there isn't any real reason to watch the cameras since they pop up in front of you either way
what could really make the bathroom a little more interesting is having the ability to close off certain rooms so 1 specific character doesn't come in while Yoshi and Ashley can go in so it can still give the player some challenge as well as more camera usage
Next we have the kitchen
*the kitchen is literally fine how it is*
Living room 2
Wario is basically night 1 wario, but buffed WAY too much
The only way to beat this night is to pay attention to the hue of the room to know if wario is there or not
you should not have to make the room a mechanic itself
to know if wario is there i honestly believe there should be a sound cue
Waluigi is fine though
Bedroom 1
While the Bedroom is really dark, its honestly one of the easier nights in the game, I believe that the bedroom needs a slight buff to it, but otherwise good
Stairs
*Stairs is fine as how it is right now*
Bedroom 2
The gameplay is very repetitive for the entire night
Buzz wario and stay away from DK
pretty boring and too easy
adding a character or 2 and/or another mechanic could make the night less repetitive
Playroom
repetitive and annoying
the music box goes down way to quick and can make it difficult to wind when you're on a short time crunch
it should go a tiny bit slower so the player DOES have a chance on getting it
and as well as FNAW 1, FNAW 3 Mario also needs a tweak, he takes way too long to kill you when he gets to you
Hallway
nothing wrong but mario does pop up a lot in the night and can get annoying after a while
Living room 3
*Fuck..*
well the living room 3 is self explanatory
it's luck based bull shit
now what the night really needs to make it less luck based is the ability to change the time on the clock so it forces it to ring but the time would be wrong until you change it back to the correct time (it wouldn't make the night harder it'll just confuse the player on when the night ends) besides that everything else about living room 3 is fine
Laundry
Its fine but i think mario should go back cameras from time to time when you have the washer on
Cellar
Pretty much a harder version of Living Room 1
but besides some tweaks, its not bad
this is no hate to WWWwario i'm just giving out some criticism and ideas to him
@@lapitcsman that is one long comment you made there
@@Kyranyoutubevids i like making long reviews
I wanna speak my mind
The reason why you can't flash the light on cam F of the basement is because that's supposed to be the basement room of the final night from FNAW's 3! Your welcome.
Dang, that’s a crazy revelation. Thanks for letting me know!
I heard the reason why the game is still in a 4:3 aspect ratio is because at least most of the original unedited versions of the images were basically lost to time, and they didn’t wanna upscale the room edits in the original since they could’ve looked bad when upscaled.
Other than some problems and nitpicks here and there, this is a HUGE step up from the original. 100 times better.
I can honestly see Dawko coming back to voice since he voiced Richard in Five Shows at Wario's endgame quest, the others I'm not sure though.
Great video btw! Very well done! 👍
he voiced richard in fnaw 2 (the phone guy)
ngl one level i havent heard brought up enough is the bonus level
the only level where the cameras get unstable overtime
and its only wario
has to be hands down the most scariest and rage inducing part of this game
I love the deluxe version for many reasons
- the game feels more alive, like the animations are just.. they're just so cool. I especially love the little shake/slam animation the doors make whenever they close. It's just so mesmerizing to me.
- the soundtrack is really great. The songs are so amazing, my favorites are the menu theme, the music box theme, and the final theme.
- The phone calls may drag on, and you'd only need to listen for the phone call explaining the cellar cameras and peach, but most players might skip the calls since they're just rewritten versions of the old ones. However I'm a sucker for fnaf fan game stories, so I actually love the new phone calls and their massive lore dumps. But I understand why some people don't wanna listen to them just for the sake of story.
- the grand finale to the game (not max made)
It's somewhere in between.
imo I love the new phone call dialogue. The Dialogue that the Phone Guy use to have in FNAW 1 was honestly pretty terrible and tried a bit too hard to tell you as little as possible. This gives a good chance to flesh the characters out more. also while it does run on for a bit, theres a skip call button. already a plus over Cabin Fever Chapter 2
thegamesalmon sure as hell plays these but he is still trying to beat five shows at warios
Nice vid 👍
I got lucky on night 3, then struggled for 2 weeks on night 4 and then beat night 5 second try. I really hope all out mode won't be required to beat the series
It's not required to complete the story but you need to 100% every game (either the originals or the Deluxe versions, whichever versions you choose) if you wanna reach the overworld and meet entity 0
2:05 Weird. when I play fnaw 1 OG 1.0 it's always 16:9 for me
some games that are 4:3 get stretched automatically, this also happens with Plants vs Zombies 1.
as of right now they made a patch to make peach more lourder to hear
(also i beat all out prepatched)
I wrote the script before the patch came out. Also, good for you.
why you didn't talk about the final night it has the most interesting mechanic i ever seen
By the time I wrote the script I hadn’t played the Final Night yet, but I do agree, it has an interesting gameplay loop. Also, for the most part, I wanted to keep this review spoiler free. So talking about the Final Night might’ve been too far into spoiler territory.
Is it made by www wario
Yes.
@@n1n10doboy cool hope it gets port to switch
