I grew up in don mills and my whole family too ......and i cant think of a better community to live as a child. The schools the hockey rink, the curling rink the theatre , the science centre , edwards gardens , even the pool hall and bowling alley and old don mills plaza.
Oh and old bond park baseball fields, i do treasure those memories

Most of the new town area should have some type of Heritage Designation Protection, if not already. I hope to come check Don Mills out one day soon!

i wish they kept the sweet bungalows, as ours were...they tore down our sweet bungalow in don mills, in about 2010ish, and put a monster home. i mean it s a nice house, but there is a def charm to the bungalows don mills started with.] being a kid in don mills, in sixties and seventies seemed quite magical, yet a humiltiy and community also was there...the big homes frankly , seem too...ie rich.]

Either you had a traumatic childhood or you moved there too late, cuz don mills used to be a really nice place to raise ur kids in the 50s 60s and 70s.
But maybe you had a bad experience untold. Never heard anybody say that before
