    My 2017 Silverado Lt , has no drive but no onstar codes or codes in dash. It reverses great but no forward.

      Don’t know if you ever fixed your issue but yours might be as simple as the valve body separator plates. I’d encourage you to look into it if you’re still troubleshooting!

      My 6l80 will not go in any gear but if I shut it off and wait a few minutes it will go into gear 🤷🏾‍♂️ I’m just going to rebuild mine and upgrade what I can. Because it might be the converter so it’s not cheap from the start

    My truck won’t go . You press the gas and the rpm’s go up but the trucks stays still.

      I was having the same issue. Dropped the pan and had a shit load of metal shavings.. cleaned it and added new fluid and running good so far

    Can I change my fluid and filter to get my transmission to stop slipping and not go in gear ?

    P0796 on 6T40 transmission, what may be cause?

      You could be having pressure issues and pressure control solenoid is picking up on it. Bad solenoid possible but more then likely tiny about of debris has circulated through the transmission from torque converter clutch wear. Try a fluid change, but if there is prolonged damage you may need a transmission.
