Hoima city stadium - State Minister Ogwang inspects works; assured of timely delivery

The State Minister for Sports, Peter Ogwang, has confirmed that Hoima City Stadium will be ready for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) inspection by 31st December 2025. This stadium is one of the venues earmarked to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, which Uganda will co-host with Kenya and Tanzania under the local banner "PAMOJA."

Lubowa Specialised hospital has taught me not believe anything from this govt until I see it physically.
Only USD $130m, that means Uganda can build 10 of these stadiums at a go ! We have a lot of money that is only stolen and wasted .
If at all we are paying Ug Shs.250m per day in penalties to road contractors for breaches, how much is that in one year alone ????
