A rare and true master of his art. I was saddened (but understood) that he retired this year. He can happily retire and know that he has influenced many generations of artists.
You clearly don't know real musicians. Guys who play violin and French horn are not guys who learn a few guitar chords in their bedroom to impress girls. They're seasoned musicians, and if they know this music, they know it good. OK, they're probably not Joshua Bell, who got about a million hits for his video playing violin in the NY subway, but by the time they get to this stage, they may have decades of tuition and performing experience in their trunk. They're not like you and me, faking it till you;re making it. These guys were what you and I should consider experts by the time they were 14, and then their education continued. Have a bit of fucking respoct, man.
It's fantastic! We have all the spirit of Star Wars with only 2 violins, one piano, one french horn and one drums!! Such an incredible surprise for the customers of that supermarket! Bravissimo and thanks to all of you for this gift!
I know the feeling, only from watching them on TV in the 90s. I'm old enough to remember how the prequels were received as poorly as the sequels now. Most people actually prefer the prequels over the OT. But for me, they'll never hit that same level of nostalgia.
This song inspired me to learn to use the force myself. Could never get it to work though lol. I might be confusing fiction with real life. Possibly 🤔🤔
Ya this happens to me all the time..... I can be anywhere playing piano and randomly an orchestra and a choir form from nothing. None of us have ever seen each other before and even more amazingly we all play perfectly together and in tune! Just a normal day being a human.
I was just a little kid early 1980s and I remember watching episode 4. This music transported me to another galaxy. New writers Star wars franchise don't have a clue what that means
Yeah. I was 9 when Return of the Jedi came out in '83. Went and saw the movie with my buddy Matt, and his dad. During the scene where Vader and Luke w as fighting, then Luke did that high jump, flipped backwards in the air and landed on the gantry, I recall yelling No Way!! Lol I got shushed by a few people. And it just occurred to me Luke had the high ground. Bet that brought back memories for Vader. Still have a sense of pride, I watched it in the theater when it was first released. Feel kinda like an OSWG. Original Star Wars Guy.
Amazing. What are the chances so many young people to meat together, all musicians, carrying their instruments, all different, everyone knowing its part? Unbelievable!
I've never watched one Star Wars movie in my life. But that music is so iconic even if you're not a fanatic you'll still appreciate that piece of music.
It’s beautiful to see how music from a movie in the 70’s can bring so many different strangers together to share in a brief moment…..it restores my faith in humanity 🤘🏽🇺🇸
LOVE THE MUSIC FROM STAR WARS. In hearing a song from Star Wars just hits you in your soul. Takes you back to your childhood seeing the movie for the first time. Best sound track to great movies.❤❤❤❤
Star wars is probably one of the most classic pieces of American cinema ever made right next to wizard of Oz and jurassic park. Everyone grew up watching it. We all know the songs and when we hear it we can't resist staying to listen. It's amazing how film and music can bring people together
Everytime i hear john williams score for the movie - it takes me back to the wonder and amazement that I had watching the original 3 on the big screen.
John Williams music is so moving. I was at a mall once where Levi’s had ad campaign with a traveling pop up orchestra. They played the Empire March and it was awesome.
What is amazing to me is that nearly 50 years after Star Wars came out, the music is still recognizable to all generations.
50 years huh, really been that long since I went to the movies?
And after Disney got it, the music is the the one only thing you recognize from Star whatever
It isn't that it's recognizeable, I think that it's still relative.
Other than Rays' song, the sequels have no defining music. The originals and the prequels have the best and most recognizable music.
What's interesting about the Imperial March, is that it's just meant to introduce Vader. That theme is never used again in Empire.
John Williams scores are timeless!!
Indeed
John Williams's white glove is unmistakable and timeless.
Good luck.

His Jurassic Park theme makes me cry! We went to see a local orchestra play a tribute to him. I was in complete awe
Funny that you say timeless, cause he always composes with a stopwatch. 🐭

Star Wars: bringing people together since 1977
Yeah, but don’t forget that Luke Skywalker is a hero, and Mark Hamill is a villain. He is on the wrong side of the force in real life.🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻

Sadly not so much now. Kathleen Kennedy and Disney have killed it.

When people "randomly" get together and record themselves playing music they didn't practice ahead of time. Amazing!

don't all musicians carry their instruments around?😂
Who says its random. Randomly planned for video?
@@anonymousposter3570 So randomly not random? 🤔😁

The Original Trilogy, at its finest…..
John Williams would be “PROUD”
🥰💯‼️
I don't know what amazed me the most. Their music or their acting skills.
Their music are pretty good, acting skill are basic
@@emmanuelwilliamquinton9152
Their acting is only second to the dialog.
Acting skills are not very good at all, but their music skills are wonderful !!!!!
👍🏼😉

I would had asked for their autographs
The music of Star Wars still gives me chills.
I grew up on Star Wars...get chilles everytime I hear the theme...no different now. Beautiful.
Anytime I hear Star Wars I always hear the French Horn. Hugs 🤗
Gosh, every time I hear the Star Wars theme, i get a wash of feeling about being a kid and how epic and important this movie was to my childhood.
Turkey foil tube lights lightsabres at Christmas 🤩
Barbie dream house tubes give a good whack too
That first time seeing the starship in the beginning of the movie and how it seemed to go on forever-incredible!

Just goes to show People like the old Star wars and the feeling you get when Listening to Score of John Williams. Nicely done.
This is absolutely why i love music, its universal. Nothing needs to be said, the music itself says it all.
These songs when done right still give me chills. Thay speaks volumnes to the.musical and cultural legacy
As a Star Wars fan, this video made me happy.
Only a true fan can understand the difference ❤

That gave me goosebumps..!
Bravo to these great muscians, bringing joy to everyone. Thanks also, John Williams.
Something positive happened in the world.
Thank you
The Star Wars we love versus the swill Disney continues to try and call Star Wars. Absolutely magnificent performance.
Oh man you can’t beat the OG soundtrack for Star Wars. So epic and classic and timeless. And played well by a random crew of folks? Beautiful.
I used to play french horn for more than 4 years and i can tell you the french horn parts where AMAZING, in fact this orchestra is INCREDIBLE
How often do the musicians get to whip that out? Special moment!
Nothing beats the sound and visuals of classic Star Wars 4,5 and 6. ❤❤❤
