We camped in Texas in 110 DEGREE weather... (are we crazy?)

- Today we're taking a little road trip from our home town of Houston, Texas all the way to.... PHOENIX! But along the way we are going to be stopping and checking out some of the sites to see and things to do. So come along as we check out Balmorhea State Park, a beautiful coffee shop in El Paso, and watch us camp and set up our Rooftop Tent in over 100 DEGREE WEATHER!

Camping in the heat is the WORST! lol. When we were in Australia we drove through the outback in a camper van in 115F and the gas station got so hot we couldn't pump because the fuel was boiling... almost got stuck... spent the night frying in a tin can... was one of the dumbest things we ever did lol. So we definitely feel your pain.. at least you guys were smart and had some gorgeous springs/pools planned!! lol

Y'all are troopers for braving tent camping in that kind of heat. I'm not sure I could get Abby to do that but to be fair she's not a big fan of camping.

Definitely! We miss the weather and the culture but it is fun to explore new places too!

Hi Shana, we bought Kanulock Lockable Tie-Down Straps so that no one could open the tent when we were parked or so that it couldnt malfunction and fly open while driving!
