Harry meets Professor Dumbledore who tells him a corridor is out of bounds, before heading off and getting the first Wizard Card behind a bookshelf and learning about Bertie Bott's Beans. He then heads to the Library to rescue Hedwig, before going to learn Flying and then Charms for the Wingardium Leviosa spell.

I haven't played this game in about 13 years, yet it's still as fresh in my mind as if I stopped playing yesterday. Ahh back in the day when jumping puzzles were strong gameplay elements, fantastic part of childhood.

I loved this game as a kid but damn did it creep me out at times...Something about walking down them empty corridors and barely any music..
Yeah! I was just thinking about this today, there were a few students walking around for the first 5 mins of the game but the whole place is empty after that, its a spooky/lonely atmosphere.

Words can not describe my enjoyment for this game when I was a kid.
In 2000 I was the same age as Harry Potter, so I felt like I was growing up with him lol.
I'm 16 and I remember playing this on my PS1 when I was like 4/5, maybe 6. So many good memories.

Wow!! This is the biggest dose of nostalgia I've had in years! Many happy hours of my childhood were spent playing this game!

I remember this. My best friend and I used to make fun of the sounds Harry makes while jumping. Still do sometimes. We were eleven when this game and the movie came out, so it was kind of perfect :)

The voice acting in the early games was always so funny as they clearly did not get the actual actors for the parts. The Weasleys all sound like they are played by the same person xD

This was the first game I ever played on ps1. I have known this game for as long as I can remember, the only problem was that when I was around 6, the English setting broke and I had to play the entire game in French. Ah, the memories...

Came here in 2018 to reminisce, was on the edge of my seat when you missed a few hoops and my other half just laughed at how into it I was getting 😂... pretty crazy how this game is so much better than hogwarts mystery.

I remember when I was 5 I'd always make it to the bank levels and the game would freeze on me and then I'd have to restart because I had no memory card, so I replayed the game til that point about 20 times

I know this comment is really old but stepparents is another term for Guardian which Vernon and Petunia are

Such strange Graphics. Only played the pc version, and i thought that had a bit blocky characters.
The ports for this game were all made by four different companies so they all have different gameplay like the PS2 version had spells that weren't available in the PS1 version.
Does it not bug anyone else that this game says "Step-Parents" instead of Aunt and Uncle (The Dursleys)
