I agree too...I started listening to BTS in April 2022, went to Busan for the Yet to Come live play and then saw Yoongi in Newark and LA, and cannot tell you how many kind people I've met in the past year. The experience of going to a concert is unreal (and I'm an older army--57!). These guys are unbelievable. And watching this vlog makes we so excited for the future of BTS!

John! What an experience! I was there on Saturday night as well. Like you, it was my first time at a BTS or Member Concert. It was beyond any expectations I had imagined. Suga's performance was electric and the emotions of being part of the ARMY sea, everyone in their feet, singing was overwhelming. I don't remember ever been at a concert like this. I can only hope that we all get a chance to be with all SEVEN soon. I'm a baby ARMY myself, but I will be there whenever and wherever it is the time.

believe it or not, there are a LOT of ARMY who are ALSO metalheads & some punk fans too. ARMY is REALLY REALLY diverse.
28:11 your words are exactly like I felt when I came back. I flyed 8 hours to New York from Austria 🇦🇹 just to see SUGA and I loved every second of the hole trip. I was there one week solo and meet so many kind ARMYS. I didn’t feel alone at all and the magic to be a part of the purple ocean was incredible. I just hope I’ll be able to see them as 7 once in my life 💜.. thanks for taking me with you to your trip.. so many emotions 🥹came back to me and I’m literally crying right now 😢
This is one of my fave Agust D concert vlog. I was at the Friday show too and so bummed out that I didn't get to see you in person. I'm so glad you enjoyed his concert and I also can't wait to see you experience an OT7 concert in person cause it is indescribable, I cry tears of love and gratitude for BTS and Army every time. And yes, being a part of that purple ocean, that sea of Army bombs and Army love with BTS and their love right at the center of it all is so amazing, isn't it? 💜
We got the privilege of attending D-Day on Wednesday night in Inglewood, Ca. It was so lit 🔥. I’m still deaf…..😂
I was there the third night in Chicago and I think I saw you! I just didn't realize it was you 😂 Life changing concert. It was my first time being a part of the army bomb ocean and there's really nothing like it. Thinking about it makes me all teary lol 💜💜
I was at night 3 as well. Definitely an unforgettable experience. I miss that feeling of being surrounded by armys 💜

Great blog. Thank you , John. A lot of your feelings about BTS and Suga concert is exactly how I felt‼️ The crowd participation is unlike any other concert I have been to. The POWER ARMY has is UNBELIEVABLE ‼️ I loved it so much I went twice‼️‼️Something I NEVER do.
What I find I credibly amazing is how your daughter got a metal head, Like you , so into them. That’s how you know BTS is SO FREAKING GOOD💜
Have u go to other kpop group concert? I wonder how is other fandom energy, vibes n the connection feel between the artist n their fandom at concert. It's same with Army or different
if i had to compare to anyone, i'd say Queen.
besides the regular fans, they provided a space for all the spiritual ( not religious) people, especially teens and that was the goal.
queen were always very aware of what a crowd can do and achieve but the main driving force was freddy, so after his death, the bandmates made progress but never really understood.
i think bts are also super aware of how everything interconnects and that's what people call magic.
it's not magic but a shifting of thought and frequencies during the concerts to match temporarily. can't think of any other artist who could achieve this

Saw Yoongi in Chicago d1 and La day 1 and 2.. i love every minute of all the time i spent with ARMY and Yoongi… to see BTS live is everything… glad u had fun..

i've watch the permission to dance on stage in cinema which i got emotional among ARMYs sang along, waving the ARMY bombs & teared on seeing the boys on screen. I can't imagine how it feel seeing them in person. BUT ONE DAY! IT WILL COME! :D
agree traveling & particularly if you got a chance to stay in a completely foreign country people speak different language that's even better experience. because we then see how self-centered we have been by thinking the country & culture we've raised is the center of the world & is the norm,but yet NO & we start to appreciate all cultures :)

Thanks for sharing. I couldn't get tickets for the venue at the Prudential Center, but made the best of my weekend in NYC. Just booked ticket to his live in Japan theater next month...the closest I'll be to an AgustD concert. Bitter sweet but thankful. 😭💜🎶

I've watched the show twice already from different TH-camrs who were close to the stage. You gave me another view point of the whole stage and light show and a perpective on how explosive the show is. Thank you John, that was fun watching your trip. I’m a bit jealous! That is so wonderful to hear that you thought it was the best concert you had ever been to! I’m glad you had fun on your solo trip. I did that for PTD LA, it was so fun, but in luckily met a new ARMY friend on Twitter that lived near me so I met her there and we did everything together! I have gotten my boyfriend to go with me to a few of the BTS concerts/documentaries at the theatre but a lot of the time I go alone which is sad for me. I did meet a few cool ARMYs at those events too! Got waitlisted for Suga then a text that tickets were opening up a week before the show but in the middle of the week which this year I can’t do -can’t take the time off of work. So I didn’t go, PLUS the pricing was so jacked up I would only be able to
Afford nosebleeds in weird sections of the arena where I wasn’t sure I would be able to see much for almost $300! Anyway, if I ever make it out to Nashville it would be fun to meet up for a drink to discuss “our boys”. You can convince my boyfriend that they are super cool and he should be ARMY too! 😄💜

I'm 56 & I went by myself to the D2 in Chicago. Also, as always met incredible Army fans. I wished, I would have attempted to go to the other 2 concerts. I didn't think, it was going to be such an amazing concert. I went to BTS 2022 Las Vegas D1 & D2 incredible but Agust D was amazing.
So glad you were in my city! I did not get tickets in Chicago but I did see Suga in Oakland! It was awesome. And there is NOTHING alike ARMY FAN PARTICIPATION.

I went to his closing show in oakland. army was so polite and everyone was so respectful and nice. I never leave my house cuz im a germaphobe but the stars aligned for the tickets and I had to go. when I was there i didnt make a noise, didnt scream, didnt shout, I didnt even jump I just stood there 2 hours straight in awe that he was in the same room as me. it didnt hit me till 24 hours later I was there
when I stood in the audience... I normally woudl have had a panic attack becuase I would be scared of people shoving me or me being trampled on but for some reason I was like comforted. I know that every army went through a similar journey into becoming army. bts has chnaged a lot of lives and I think everyone knows that too. so it felt like safe to me being in that huge crowd

I drove to NYC from Canada to see Suga and it was probably the best show I've ever been to. I actually miss being there. I'm so glad I took videos. I love watching it back. What great memories and experience this whole thing was. I'm newer Army(almost 2yrs now) and BTS got me through a tough time. So, this meant a lot to me. If I can never see all 7 I'm glad I got to see 1.

Army is amazing!! While standing in line at the Concert in LA, the ladies in front of me charged my phone so I could film some. I had forgotten my battery pack at the hotel 💜💜💜
I love that you at ramen twice. So did I. I went to a ramen place before the concert and then I brought instant ramen bowels and ate them in the hotel after the concert.

You are right people need to get out and see the world a little it does expand the mind. I've seen many places on this Planet we share gone through a number of passports. Couldn't get out to the USA as I didn't manage to get a ticket and my passport was out of date yikes. London to Chicago is an 8 hour flight. But I've been on longer flights in the past. Hope you get some well earned rest now as traveling can be exhausting at times.

If envy is a person that would be me. Im a BTS Army since 2018 and I’ve never seen them perform live. Not in person though i watched all concerts online tru help of other Army. Happy for you John. Hopefully 1 day i can watch. BTS concert too. Hope 1 day money and Visa are not issues anymore
A BTS concert will rival this experience, John. I went to both shows and I really like your views of the higher seats, wow! I was floor on day 3 and the energy was insane, but I wish I did level 200 for day 2.
