How to get internship in Germany, I'm doing mbbs in Ukraine, is it important to do internship before giving fsp , what are the requirements for internship?
Sir can you please make a video explaining the training during PG in Germany. For example in India we have a set system, 3 years PG and then SR. Then consultant. We know that we get direct PG for some branches like Opthal or Ortho whereas in some branches like Pastic Surgery we have to first do GEenral Surgery and then go through SS course. SOme institutes may offer direct 6 years course till SS but it still follows the 3+3 pattern. From my understanding, there are different time durations for different branches in Germany. However, I cant find clear info on how much time each branch is for and what the structure is. For example, If I opt for say Neurosurgery which is for say x years, DO I have to do say 2 years of general surgery first and then they do neuro for x-2 years , or do they make us do some general surgery side by side throughput the course for x years or is it just neuro and nothing else? A bit of clarity on that issue would be extremely helpful. Also, is it true that they dont measure "years" of the course as 2021-2022 365 days but by number of allotted working days. So if there are say Y working days in a year, they will just count a year completed whenever Y days are over even if it is before the actual year ends? Is the payment also done the same way or is it just a month of 30 days regardless of whether you work 25 days or 30 days in the month? Next, we are coming from a different country so we wont know which branch is good where and we dont know the system. I understand when we enroll with you, you will help and we will get to know some things when we do hospitation. But every student's preferences are different and some things we may not realise beforehand until we start working in that sysem in that course. THe thing is, in India we have 3 years of PG in a broad branch like Genral medicine or Surgery to decide further and we also have rotations in different SS departments related to that branch during 2nd year of our course. So we have an opportunity to make up our minds. But in Germany we are applying for a direct course till superspeciality. Can we get some kind of idea about such things when we do hospitation and when we work as doctor after clearing FSP? Also, is there any way to change our branch during the course (say general surgery to ortho - meaning keeping the change within the surgical family for example), and whether our experience in the previous branch will be counted at all? Thirdly is there a separate ER/Trauma surgery specialty or does ortho only manage it? Basically what branches have emergency duties and how frequently. And what are the average working hours per day on regular days and with Emergency duty? This info will be extremely helpful in making my decision. Thank you.

With this thought in mind I have questions mainly on the financial aspects of being a doctor in germany. 1) Is it a fixed goverment salary even after your pg or is there avenues for extra work leading to more income?-( even though germany pays for the entire pg course i find that the money we earn after the specialist training is less compared to other countries including india) 2) How good is the training when compared to indian ms or md pg courses, is the training received stadardized like mci in india or is it highly fluctuant and depends on individual hospitals and hod we work under? 3) In india there is a big salary jump especially surgeons when one finishe ms then superspeciality(mch) is there any big increase in income like that once we finish our pg (superspeciality included)? 4) Are there any particular specialities where earning are significantly more? 5)Finally can you describe the quality of life that doctors lead in germany in detail Your videos are very helpul, keep up the good work Thank you in advance
I will try to answer you in short , 1) you will get a particular salary as a FAcharzt, but there are other avenues where one can earn much higher, for eg Notarzt, Honorar Arzt, KV Arzt. 2) it is highly fluctuant and depends on individual hospitals and hod we work under 3)No 4) Vascular Surgery, Urology 5) quality of life that doctors lead in germany in detail- in coming Video

I really can't imagine buying a good car with salary of Assistenzarzt or even a starting specialist, maybe if you already own a home and have no bank debt to pay... maybe then ... The salaries would be ok, but when you have to give 40% of it to the government, you earn less than most nannies in U.S . Also as I understand, the salary shown for a 1st year Assistenzarzt is basic, you can earn more with doing more nigh shifts ?
there are many earning opportunities, the income mentioned is the very basic which an Assistenzarzt earns.Please let us know how much do nannies in the USA earn, only then we could comment on that. Taxation in Germany is huge, that is true
DMiNetz International Last time I checked, the average yearly pay of a full time babysitter in USA is around 35k-50k ( and again , that is the average, I’ve read that there are babysitters that earn up to 75k yearly . ). Now lets take a state like South Dakota, the tax rate if you earn 35k a year is around 15% , around 16% if you earn 50k ( so a nanny earns around 2480$- 3500$ after taxes ) . So a nanny in Usa earns similar or more than a single, 1st year doctor resident in Germany- kind of sad, and we are not even comparing apples to apples. Doctors in Germany, UK, France and other Eu countries are very undervalued compared to doctors in Canada, U.S ..
There is no difference of salary based on country you come from, foreign pharmacist will earn same as the German pharmacist. How much that i don't know at present, will have to search the internet
4000 something euro and u will only get 2600 something for real NETTO, thats how thing works in Germany, so don't be sway by the BRUTTO amount 🤣 if u guys want the higher salary then u can go to US and earn more, for dr, nurses, medical tech ass etc,
2600 is the beginning salary, with duties and weekends one can expect to progress between 4000 to 5500 Netto in 2-3 years. But true, US Salaries are a totally different level.

sure,, infact it is wished that the doctor is capable to work alone at nights and alone without supervison on weekends.

In private practice, its not salary, its a business, depending upon skills , on can earn 200K- 400K euro yearly
