Nice seeing real ordinary guys at the job, everybody can't have new machinery or big contractors, shows rhe other side of farming,
Lovely work 😊

Damien Nestor 30ish barn is setup for 40 , the barn is 140 years old so there is a good deal of manual labor involved

@@jackrelihan2352 Will try get the camera out next time the tanker is on😉
Some job alan 😀👏🏻
FarmFLiX well to be honest i enjoy machinery so far from that aspect this video and the chain harrowing the grass video are my most enjoyable machinery videos from Alans farm, but since i am heading to Ballyhaise agricultural college in Co.Cavan, Rep. Of Ireland i am focusing on the animal side of Alans farming enterprise but to be honest. I really dont have a favourite from your channel, it is full of interesting content and information farm related ya know. So being a border man myself here in north Co.monaghan i have interest in how my northern neighbours are getting on with their farming. I really enjoy this channel and its out put of videos but lads, as much as i enjoy alan's views and thaughts of his farm and views. There really is no video on this channel that i could class as a favourite, and i know some northerners think that us republicans are anti northen and are supporting the IRA but being honest. The past is the past. Nothing u can do about it. Whats done is done. I have no hate towards any person or nation. When it comes down to it we all need to get along. As Alan said, he gets help for his silage some seasons and i have a close friend up there in Co.Fermanagh and the odd season when im free i too go and give him a hand with his silage or slurry operations. As a frequent viewer of this channel i am proud to be a viwer of your content. Lots of information, humour and interesting videos. I really hope this channel grows to be more than it is now. It really is an inspiration to me to pursue my farming career and make lifelong friends that are always there for me. Im only 19, ya know, and i have a life ahead a me but i have lots to learn about farming and hopefully some day i will have a farm or a contracting service of my own and i will be more than happy to invite all of alan, john and the team down to have a look. Best of look from now to the future of this channel lads. May long your success may continue. From a long time viewer and subscriber, Jayjay rice, i am proud to be part of this channels community. All the best and i will see you all in the next video. Good luck for now and for times to come. All the best 😃👏🏻👏🏻🚜🐄 Alan if your finding it hard to get lads to draw for you give me an email and i will be more than happy to give you a hand drawing grass or buckraking . Heres my email jayjayrice123@gmail.com. Keep up the good work 😄👏🏻👌
Great video, love Alan’s setup, what breeds does he have?
We have Shorthorn beef and Wensleydale sheep (quite a rare breed) not sure if there’s any in Ireland I’m from Devon
great to see a real farm working and not some glamourised shiot, would love to see a cpl vids a week from alans farm with consistency maybe instead of amazing editing as there is probably a million small jobs on the farm people wanna see too. just a thought but great video
I'm glad your enjoying, but don't give them ideas😂, I'm struggling to record one a week at the moment🙈 but I know what you mean about the small jobs. Will see what I can do
@@farmflix ahaha happy with 1 vid a week but a lot of us are nosey buggers that can never see enough
At least someone knows the good tractors
Them marshall's sit well on steep ground😂
@@cormacreilly4745 it's all to do with the pilot.... And I could roll anything🙈😂
At least the Merlo would be good in a time attack with slicks like that ahahaha.
That 2205 can lift some size of row some yoke great video lad
She's an animal😂 good farmers machine ,don't think I'd start contracting to.the country all the same lol
How many acres can you harvest a day?
100 acres of decent crop is achievable,,,long day. Aim 60 to 70 to allow for any breakdowns or mishaps🙈
Do u do your own silage
Used to be contractors did all our work but do virtually all our own. Dent bale my own silage though
Great chopper,,
New holland had this done on the previous 3 models.
2100
1900
1895.
I know I drove all 3.
Does he put dung on the sheets instead of tyres
@@majesticmullet2874 cool and calm when camera is on him, revs full throttle when the cameras off :)
FarmFLiX he’d blow a head gasket on himself before he would blow one on a tractor, slightly short fused maybe? ;-)
2405 is the best
First comment great video
