My name's Moisa, I'm brasilian. I started studying English seriously a little while ago. I'm 62, I lived in Florida for a few years, but I lived in a Brazilian community and barely spoke English there. My interest in English began when I walked into my city and put an English podcast on my cell phone and the first class in which you introduced yourself appeared. Since that day I always listen to your classes. You're the best teacher I've ever had in my life. I understand 90% of what you say and I fell very happy about it. I want to tell you how wonderful it is to hear your routine and I think that talking about our daily lives is the best way to understand English. Thank you very much for everything you do for us.

Hi teacher Conner! I always enjoy listening to your contents. I’ve been enjoying “watching” them ever since you started your new series. It’s really helpful to watch you speak while improvising because that way, we can directly learn how to construct sentences in real time. It’s also really thrilling to watch you fishing for words whenever you seem to get stuck, because you always manage to get out of it anyway! I can learn from it very much as I also try an improvisation in English on my channel in order to improve my speaking and get over my fear of speaking English in front of a camera. As you talked about in your recent video, I also have imposter syndrome, and because of this, talking to myself is the most comfortable way to practice speaking. Thank your for bring up that topic🙂
Speaking of foreign languages, I also learn Spanish. I understand what you say that languages are like music. I can’t agree more!

Before I learned English for pretty much the same reason that got you learn Spanish to pass exams in school. But today I'm thankful that I learned English(and Still learning to improve it) because it helps me a lot with learning another new language "Chinese",especially at this initial stage where I need to rely on translation to at least read the transcirpt of what I listen to and have a chance to understand what I hear.

If I need subtitles, I turn them on on TH-cam. The last few times, I have been listening to your video without subtitles first. After that, when I listened to the podcast a second time, I looked at the screen and wrote down in my app a few words that I didn't know before

These are European languages. I'm from Europe but I find them quite difficult.....I also love the sound of French but my French learning has been a failure....😅 My passion has always been English and only English but when I met a funny Russian a few months ago, it changed....I am equally passionate about learning Russian. I didn't know it was possible....😊

I have big personal reasons for learning two foreign languages at the same time, one of them is English, which I speak reasonably well but would like to improve. The other language is Dutch, which my grandson speaks. I would be very interested to know if you have experience in learning two foreign languages at the same time. Can there be mutual confusion? Does the learning time increase? Or are there any special methods that make the Learning process easier? By the way, I love your podcasts and videos with all the tips and suggestions.
