Yes it's basically the same process. You just need to install the IFM or other 3rd party iodd file on SYSMAC studio first by right clicking on the IO Link simple settings table shown 4:03 - 4:19 mins then click 'install IODD file' . The iodd files will be downlaodable from the support-downloads section on IFM's website.
