And your son, trapped in a helicopter with the man you banished, surrounded with infected breaking in, trying to choose who gets to take the only bullet they've got..
This is literally my favorite scene of FTWD! Alicia is my favorite characters and I am glad they finally give her the screen time she deserves! This was iconque!
This episode was one of the worst, in my opinion, at least from a logical standpoint, and the show has been rife with examples like these. If you're just looking for poor, forced, and nonsensical character development, it was probably pretty good. However, I prefer the plot to make at least some sense. Otherwise, the show is childish and irritating. Why didn't Nick and Troy just use the grenade launcher to lure the zombies away en masse, like Troy did in the first place? They had at least 4 or 5 grenades left before they drove into the horde of zombies... Do you really think that out of a room full of adult men and women, some of whom are already doomed to die of the infection, not a single one would do the killing for Alicia, instead forcing her to do it? It makes no sense to me, and seems like just another ludicrous way to try to develop a character. How is Alicia the *only* person in the pantry to survive oxygen deprivation, and without any side effects whatsoever? How absolutely miraculous, as usual. Amazingly, she is immune to brain damage and death, apparently. How did the place with plentiful ammunition suddenly run out, forcing the nearly suffocated and already weakened Alicia to suddenly revert back into a zombie killing machine? More pointless and ridiculous stunts in an attempt to build a character. Why wouldn't the others, after rescuing Alicia, try to take as much of the bountiful supplies as possible? It seems that they just left with nothing, despite the valuable resources.

This was a turning point for Alicia's character, when she realized what she had to do to survive. Even though she failed to save the survivors she hoped to save, she needed to survive herself, take up arms and fight.

Best scene, it shows Alicia is the real protagonist and all her screentime bloomed to this. Shes just 18 when this was happening. Shes so badass in this character development. Then seasons later she became a boring af character when them only focusing on Morgan Jones. Alicia is the main character, with Madison leaving the show, she should atleast get the main character role NOT MORGAN. She has lesser screen time on the "modern" seasons and shes very different now. Shes supposed to have a signature weapon with the butterflt knife she has not the boring sharpened pipe thing she has on season 4. EVEN NOW WE STILL HAVENT SEEN ALICIA IN SEASON 7. It feels like Alicia will leave the show herself jesus.

I know that unlike the walking dead which is all about the dead fear the walking dead is mostly center on the family drama. But can't they come up with some other type of family drama. I'm always terrified of the writers actually going in that direction of Nick being the favorite child. If that happens it'll turn me off this show for good. So I just finished watching Season 3 of 'Fear The Walking Dead'. I know I'm so late and this is probably one of my favorite episodes. The only thing that bothers me is how the writers forgot or ignore the fact that these characters can survive and blend in with the zombies without being bitten by spreading the dead's blood all over their body. They have been doing that for several episodes and yet when they need it the most during a massive zombie attack, they didn't do it. Not even Nick or Alicia. They could have done it in many different ways. For example, since they have preparation time before the horde of zombie arrives, they could have covered their bodies with the blood of the dead people so zombies won't be able to smell them when they arrive. There's so many of them but not even one character thought about that. Unless, they are not aware of that. Another scene where it could have happened perfectly is when after Alicia killed all the bitten people inside the pantry who volunteered to be killed for other people's safety. Now that they have dead bodies inside the pantry, they could have used the dead's blood to cover their bodies so they can go outside without being bitten by the zombies and they don't have to suffocate inside the pantry. Maybe Alicia didn't know about that but Nick does it all the time. He could've done that with Troy and himself so it'll be easier for them to help Alicia and the people in the pantry without worrying about the zombies attacking them. The writers didn't do all that. But then the next episode, you see Nick and Troy putting the dead's blood on their bodies so they can walk and blend with the zombies just because they want to feel free while being high on drugs. They only do it when it's not necessary which is annoying. If the writers want to maintain the conflict, then they could have at least written the characters putting the dead's blood on their bodies but then it rains in the middle of their fight with the zombies so all of the bloods on their bodies will be wiped out with the rain and the zombies will be able to start smelling them again as their food. And then you can have the conflict! In that way, at least we know that the characters have done all their options without writers making plot holes and possible lazy writing. But other than that, I love this show!
I’ve been a fan since Day One and still say it’s the strongest of the now three shows. Yeah season 5 sucked ass but TWD still has yet to make up for the shit show it became during the Saviors run.
Only thing that bugged me is why everyone else had died and reanimated due to lack of oxygen yet Alicia was still alive. If they could’ve added another factor to this to make the dire situation realistically buyable this would’ve been PERFECT…

Some people also did survive, but turned residents bite them, because they didn't have a walker on them, like Alicia. It would've been worse if everyone died in one moment imo.
Chris Ahlman , the air vent was broken so people were running out of oxygen, they killed the bit ones, Alicia was dizzy because of low oxygen but managed to kill a walker and it fell on top of her thus preventing other walkers from munching her down, the air comes back and voila

That's because the others were bitten by the walkers, Alicia however wasn't bitten because that one walker she killed before passing out landed on top of her, covering her from the other walkers and disabling them from "sensing" her.
You mean to tell me Alicia would've really been the SOLE survivor of everybody there? FTWD is not as realistic as TWD. First we got senior citizen Daniel who survives being literally in the middle of a fire/explosion and in the finale survives an equally unrealistic event. Then Alicia is the sole survivor out of a whole group of people?? Not to mention Nick... am I the only one who thinks they go overboard building up how bad-ass the main characters are? What next? Travis survived the gut shot, the neck shot, and the fall from the Helicopter?

As far as her being able to fight them off. Adrenaline. A sense of Duty. Madison is a strong fighter so genetics lol.

Seriously what makes you think that? Starting at season 3 already TWD episodes became very bald and lame. Always stretched with long dialogues and everyone just talking in metaphors... And almost no action until some final showdown moment. That's the majority of the show, while FearTWD was full of tension, action and epic moments

Chris Ahlman , the air vent was broken so people were running out of oxygen, they killed the bit ones, Alicia was dizzy because of low oxygen but managed to kill a walker and it fell on top of her thus preventing other walkers from munching her down, the air comes back and voila
i would suggest watching it, season 3 episode 13 is what you are looking for

i have watched this series one time when i was child but now everything make no sense and below are those
* when they know infected wont do anything to them if they are cover in infected blood why didnt they use this method from start to mix up in them and kill them
* In season 2 nick and others use above method to survive all episodes but this and later season nick and other forgot all about that and decide to use gun why????

This scene was confused only Alicia alived in this Bunker or what ?
That's because the others were bitten by the walkers, Alicia however wasn't bitten because that one walker she killed before passing out landed on top of her, covering her from the other walkers and disabling them from "sensing" her.

You mean to tell me Alicia would've really been the SOLE survivor of everybody there? FTWD is not as realistic as TWD. First we got senior citizen Daniel who survives being literally in the middle of a fire/explosion and in the finale survives an equally unrealistic event. Then Alicia is the sole survivor out of a whole group of people?? Not to mention Nick... am I the only one who thinks they go overboard building up how bad-ass the main characters are? What next? Travis survived the gut shot, the neck shot, and the fall from the Helicopter?
JerseyManShaggy TWD is far more unrealistic, all the characters are superheroes. More survived but were killed by the infected, Alicia survived because the one she killed masked her scent.
Alicia survived off ofF pure Luck. Had she not encountered the walker and it fell on top of her she would have died as well. EVERYONE didn't die from suffocation but the majority of them were bitten. As far as her being able to fight them off. Adrenaline. A sense of Duty. Madison is a strong fighter so genetics lol.
Ah yes and in that one episode were Nicholas died but Glenn and him both fell into a herd and some how Glenn crawled under a garbarge thing without them getting to him. Or that one that he was stuck to a chair and he free himself and fought off a walker. Yes so realistic, and these are just two of TWD. Stop hating on Fear u idiot. bc they are literally doing the same in TWD making the character look like superheroes.
