One thing I don't think was covered enough, for each one, the way that you know when its actually time to replace the filter. I live on my own so use very little filtered water per month, if you are doing it by time, then I would unnecessarily be changing a very little used filter. After searching high and low for something that monitors how much water used, I ended up with the BRITTA Ontap system, this actually has an LCD display on it, and starts at 600L, so as I use it it measures the quantity of water. I only have to replace the cartridge in it in about 18months, when it gets to zero litres. It also helps you get a cartridge not to early, so it won't run out of its shelf life neither., before you use it. I am now working from home 5days per week now, we're as before the cartridge was lasting even longer. I notice BRITTA, have brought out a new model I'm mine, which the filters are now V-MF, rather than HF, so I don't know if the new models cartridges fit the old model ontap unit, but it does appear to be exactly the same. Any other recommendations with the systems having, a by use indicator, rather than by time indicator on them, would be good to know?
Just incase anyone wanted to know:- I have just found a picture of the LHS of the V-MF filter box, indeed it does fit my BRITTA OnTap model, as well as a couple of previous models. My tap unit is good, so no need to replace it just for the sake of it.
Yeah but the brita water taste weird. I lovedrinking water but I definitely sense the change when i installed it hence why im looking at this video for alternatives.
@@marygarcia7965 nope I've tried Brita for 4 years and it started changing over time to the point that the views were piling up with complaints as the years went by. I've tried the Pur one it tastes like natural spring water similar to Portland spring water and I've recently went to Portland Maine and it tastes amazing.
I'm looking for a Purr Water filter replacement system. I have well water - rated "Satisfactory", no way I'm drinking that! At over $12 a filter for the pitchers, these filters went from a little over 3 months, to 2 months and now, not even making it to 30 days.😕 In addition, I supplement the pitcher water with bottled water - 1 gallon every two days - that's $2.50 x 15 days ... X 1 year.🤷
I have the pur water one. with pur plus filter. water tastes just like bottled water. I had recently purchased zero water to try it to see if its any different in tastes and quality... also due to the seal wearing out at the top of the filter housing causing water to drip out after 2 years of use. one thing I can say for sure is that PUR plus filter lasts a long time for my household cause theres only 2 of us. but prices for the filters have gone up pretty high.
Hello was wondering we just opened a business with some pretty cool gadgets was wondering if you were able to run a video explaining the product for us. And we can talk about other in dms or best contact. We could both possibly profit.

@@joeblogs5163 thanks for the update!
Did you test the water after it ran through the filter? And how good is a filter if it's made of plastic and the water runs through the plastic.
I'm sure the plastic cases just the housing for the actual filter.

Mmm probably because your used to bottled water

Too many opinion based statements, not enough facts and actual specs.
