It's not about if u have a dog, it's about if u take a dog at a temple will the people who also had came there to worship will they be comfortable or not, will your dog behave in a good manner or not what if he poops in the Temple or pees inside. There are no such rules for animals to not come in temples. What if ur dog might not like the environment inside the temple and start barking or run around the whole temple thinking it's cool and end up messing up the whole place.
