THE CORRUPTION OF DRUG COMPANIES AND ACADEMICS IS SO BREATHTAKING! I KNEW THOSE ARTICLES WERE GHOSTWRITTEN, BUT NOT THAT THE ACADEMICS WERE PAID TO ATTACH THEIR NAMES TO THIS BOGUS RESEARCH! THANK YOU, DR. HEALY, FOR YOUR INTEGRITY AND CHARACTER.

I can’t believe I made it to the 5 year mark of “protracted” acute withdrawal. I was uneducated and so was my Doctor. “You’ll be right mate he said” Are you sure I should cold turkey this capsule of beads Doc? PAWS is the worst thing I’ve ever had to deal with. My nervous system is still slightly damaged however it heals every year. The symptom list was huge at first 😢 love and peace from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤🙏🏻

My God, I've heard my story here and I know that there are millions going through same thing. It's almost a cliché now. Doctors telling you it's out of your system. It's your mental illness returning. Doctors put your through a lengthy, expensive series of tests with no results. Living long-term with such a horrific set of symptoms. Being unable to access financial support due to it not being recognised and in my case, having no family available in the state I live in, having to continue to work, pay a mortgage and being a single parent (50% of the time), while suffering PAWS. I feel alone in this.
Quickly, I've had PAWS for 5 years. Finally began tapering correctly, after two failed attempts, for 3 years. I had hoped to be free in a year but it's now 17 years in total and I'm really struggling as I'm getting lower, especially the past few months, so I may have to extend for another year. Or longer. And doing it alone. I'm scared of how I will be able to function a normal life. It's already been hell.
Anyway, thank you all for sharing your data and experiences. It was a great discussion and well done for all the work you all do. God knows it's needed. What a shame not enough people are aware of it. When I've written my own articles and shared, there is great skepticism about what I'm going through. ie only other sufferers know. As Nicole said. www.anthonyjlangford.com/2022/10/my-anti-depressant-nightmare-warning.html
One day, you will all be recognised as pioneers for this crucial work. Thank you so much.

😢 true! Been there and the suffering was insane, not knowing it was withdrawal.
      Now I’m tapering two AD’s.
Done with the tiny pill benzo taper. Took me nine months.
I’m stuck with two more. It will take few years at the smallest therapeutic dose that I’m now.

@@anatino Sorry to hear. It's awful. Two must be very difficult. Worth going slow though. Still have to live.

We need to talk about permanent damage. I was poly drugged for 9 years. Didnt know about CT and after 6 years still many issues. I am sacred. Also neuropathy in my legs 24/7 for 10 years. What can we do if there is permanent damage?

Have to agree. I believe there is permanent damage.

I quit seroquel 50mg cold Turkey ( doctor advice ! ) 3 months ago. Im Still suffering from quite uncomfortable widrawal symtomes. The symtomes and the intensity got overe the last gradually better and less. But still the symtomes seem quite persistent. Is there a chance that i ll feel ever normal again?

Tapered off zoloft too fast by Dr (15 year use). Disabled in WD 10 months off. Feels like damage in brain.

Saying that schizophrenia is "normal" is bizzare. That speaker is definitely insane. Recognizing PAWs and psych meds harm is one thing, denying mental illness altogether is not normal.
