hey viewer , this video shows the famous ayia napa after dark, we visited a cypriot/greek taverna named "sesoula kalamaki" and feasted on some tasty cypriot dishes (village salad, taziki, souvlakia (grilled m hey guys, this video shows the famous ayia napa after dark, we visited a cypriot/greek taverna named "sesoula kalamaki" and feasted on some tasty cypriot dishes (village salad, taziki, souvlakia (grilled meat kebabs) shaftalia (grilled sausage) ,fried halloumi cheese, olives, fresh hot pitta bread.
More in depth: grilled halloumi aka Cyprus’s most known product ,originates from the island and is locally produced. made from a mixture of goat’s and sheep’s milk .its creamy with a salty taste. Good paired with pita or fruit.
Souvlakia: this is a very popular dish in Cyprus . Served in warm pita bread with salad, souvlakia are grilled meat (pork, beef or chicken) grilled on skewers.
sheftila : a Cypriot sausage, it’s made from minced beef and herbs.
Village salad: similar to Greek salad but with the addition of lettuce)
then, we walked around and checked out a bakery called "the bakery" and enjoyed a dessert.
after that we grabbed dessert at the dinner buffet at our hotel (sunrise oasis)
