I love your videos, you make it seem so easy as well. Sadly I seem great at germinating seeds and starting them off but then I seem to kill them off (I think with kindness by over watering)
Hi Laura Lombardi, thanks, it’s all quite easy with a bit of knowledge. When your seedlings fail it could be that over watering is causing ‘damping off’ it’s where fungus grows around the little plants stems. Have a google, if you try watering less and good ventilation (just no cover over the seedlings) you should have some success. Little plants only need a small amount of water, allow the surface to dry a little before watering again. It’s more about watering when required rather than a regular daily soaking. If they get thirsty they soon object by wilting. Persistence is all that is needed to find this balance, you will have plants this year 🌱🌻🌼 I hope this helps, all the best of luck Robbie 🌸
@@stinkyditchnursery750 thank you for your advise, i've done my lobelia this way so i'll keep my fingers crossed. I managed to grow a fairly good amount of honesty and hollyhocks last summer (not realising that you didnt need to do the whole packet of seeds) so at the very least there is plenty of that in the garden going strong that i can say i did all by myself
Where’s part 2?
You are always such a delight to watch!
Great video and your enthusiasm made me smile 😊
Love the videos.please keep them coming. I can’t wait for the follow up ones!❤️🇨🇦
