- The Dominion Malta expansion has just released and it's GREAT! But is the best? In this video I am ranking all Jurassic World Evolution 2 DLC's, from the packs to the two big expansions.

1. Dominion Biosyn Expansion
2. Dominion Malta Expansion
3. Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack (I just grew attached to some of the dinosaurs, Scorpios also has some really cool animations)
4. Late Cretaceous Pack
5. Early Cretaceous Pack
6. Deluxe Upgrade Pack (purely because it has a dinosaur that should not have been a paid DLC species considering it was in the base game of Jurassic World Evolution)
When I made a stink about the Huayangosaurus being DLC, most people were DEFENDING the decision at the time.
We got what we deserved with the community being such bootlickers.

@@sinaloa1210 The original commenter ranked Deluxe the lowest because one of the species in the pack was a JWE 1 species, the Huayangosaurus.
Some people, including myself, thought this was unacceptable before the game released, because it was, and tried to get the community to actually do something and make a stink so Frontier wouldn’t get away with selling a dinosaur we already had in the first game.
Most people wanted to lick Frontier’s boots until after the pack released though, so by the time people were going “Hey wait we just bought a dinosaur we already had”, Frontier already had that deluxe edition cash in the bank.
@@Dinoman9877 oh yeah that makes sense thanks for clearing that up for me. I agree with that, how we shouldn’t have paid for a dinosaur that was previously in the other game “free” so to speak.
For species, Malta has great species to add to enclosures to fill out cool and unique niches. They shine most when they are not the "focus" of the enclosure. Unless you go out of your way to bring them really into focus. Petting zoo, close up enclosure or "camp" attractions for example. Aside from the Atrociraptor of course, who can be a main attraction as a more "brute" looking raptor.
Byosin has star attractions, flat out. Most of the species are center points to an enclosure or even section of your park. They are big, impressive, noticeable and/or unique.
Both DLCs add fantastic high quality species. The Byosin species will change your parks, Malta will add to them.
This also goes for their skins and variants.
I don’t think little animals should be in a petting zoo because…..uh well,DID YOU SEE WHAT LYSTRO DID TO OVIRAPTOR.😅
I make islands in my lagoons that can be visited by ziplines to make it some sort of premium attraction for guests

Awesome video!!! I'm planning on getting it tomorrow cause I'll be leaving my mini collage around 11:30 or so cause I'll be going up to a small town in the country for an Early Christmas, I'll be celebrating Christmas on Christmas as well :) and I think the Atrociraptors are a great addition to the game, along with everything else :)
personally i don't use the invisible fence cuz i like the look and feel of having something between the guests and dinos
This is definitely between dominion or the Malta pack but I would go for Malta personally

As a PS4 player I found a new restriction, though a relatively minor one. It's when choosing a dinosaur that has a body variant with new skins. You can choose to synthesize the default or synthesize the variant but you can't synthesize both at the same time.
At the moment, but the maps leave a lot to be desired and the natural lagoons should be something to have on already established maps which, can be an issue with player saves. Microceratus is sorely missed.

Hey evo I agree with the rankings you have come up with! Love the Malta pack and the inclusion on the moros and lystrosaurus are amazing and rank up there with best added dinos. For me the winning factor for the biosyn pack is the hyper loop system I hate monorails everywhere. Love the vids as does my son can’t wait to see his reaction to the new content later

You could recreate the Jurassic Park from the Micheal Crichton novel, there are also some maps of the Crichton park on google that can help you.

Pre-watching thoughts:
Because it was our fist taste of Dominion content, and our first taste of feathers and non-dinosaur land creatures, i feel like BioSyn had the biggest "Wow!" factor for me. Also while i love the addition of tiny creatures (especially Oviraptor), their tiny size limits their ability to interact with other creatures which (imo) hinders them a bit compared to BioSyn's Pyroraptor, Therizinosaurus, and Dimetrodon in particular
My ranking would be Biosyn > Malta > CC > Late Cretaceous > Early Cretaceous
I feel like they need to upgrade the Malta symbol for the building things. The flag makes sense but I feel like they could make something relative to the "Desert" like feel.
1. Byosin Expansion. Made a huge and big update, really liked the knew dinosaurs and skins.
2. Malts expansion. Same with Byosin expansion, but it could be tied.
3. Late Cretaceous pack. Really like the new dinosaurs. Especially the Alamasaurus and the carnivore I can’t spell.
4. Camp Cretaceous. I loved the monolophosaurus so much. I use it in my park often. It was good but could’ve made it in the end of camp Cretaceous so we would have more skins and more dinosaurs like the nothosaurus.
5. Deluxe pack. Ah yes, the original pack of jwe1. Came back to Jwe2. Not the best pack, but for me the most og.
6. Early Cretaceous. Good dinosaurs, but it wasn’t that good. Needed a bit more dinosaurs. Same with the late Cretaceous btw.
Yeah I agree. Honestly, the invisible fences are just huge. They make any attraction they are applied to seem extremely unique as compared to the bulky or repetitive fences used otherwise. The parks the player can build are (by design) very high tech. What better way to "wow" guests and immerse them in your technology than INVISIBLE FENCES and attractions, 200 million years in the making.
when all is said and done, this ranking is pretty much spot on.

I bought the Malta DLC right after I watched JW: Dominion for the second time, and am absolutely in love with that DLC. The oviraptor, atrociraptor and moros intrepidus all look amazing. It was so worth the price for me.
I totally agree with your rank Evo. For me is Biosyn the best DLC yet. I love the biome and the map and giga.
I am biased due to my favorite flying reptile being quetzalcoatlus and my favorite dinosaur being therizinosaurus, but I agree with you. Albeit, I do believe that part of the breaker would be the missing microceratus in the Malta DLC.
Some may call it nitpicking, but considering the more skins and dinos in BioSyn - which contained all the species seen in the sanctuary - and Malta had less skins and lacked dinos seen in Malta, that is what helps break the tie. Both are pretty good, but darn it if I wasn’t slightly disappointed there.
This list is exactly the same as mine, as for the expansions. Both give you a unique raptor depending which one you pick, But If you like tiny creatures get the Malta expansion. If you like giant creatures get the biyosen expansion.
I just had an idea: A Camp Cretaceous expansion.
It would come with a 2022 Spino, Nothosaurus, Sino-Spino (Adult,+the two babies as skins), Ceratosaurus 2021, Three different Baryonyx as the siblings from 2021, Mosasaur 2020, Little Eaty Skin, and finally, Indominous 2020.
It would not have Smilodon, because it just wouldn’t work in a dinosaur park. It’s literally a big cat of history.
It would also have Camp Cretaceous buildings, and not two nor three maps, but FOUR.
The maps would be the four different biomes from Mantacorpe Island. The desert and the Snow Maps would be the biggest ones.
There would also be vehicle skins, and the Jeep would be the red one seen in the show. The Heli would be the simple blue on, but slightly bigger.
The expansion would be called “Camp Cretaceous Mantacorpe+ DLC”
The Staff would look like the ones from the show, with the cargo shorts and red shirts.
The guests would be made up of people from 12-18.
So yeah. That’s my thought.
Also, lastly, if you’re seeing this Evo, where would it be on your list? Is there any adjustments you would like?
Btw, my rankings for the DLC’s would be;
6:Bioysin, because the dinosaurs have become boring to me from it and the Italy map looks really bad to me, and the Sierra Nevada map was too small and a waste of a Snow map that we needed.
5: Deluxe pack, I do like the vehicle skins, their really cute and feel family friendly, but $20?! Come on! Also, the dinosaurs were kinda boring.
4: Late Cretaceous, it felt like it was missing something. I’m not sure what though.
3: Early Cretaceous, Only because of the Krono though 😅
2: Camp Cretaceous, because I really liked the dinosaurs
1: Malta. I literally suck at anything that isn’t sandbox, so getting three maps was really helpful. Plus, the dinosaurs were sick!
Also, if I could, I would make a new type of DLC where it’s nothing but a big map. Those maps would be, for the challenge mode, France, which would be like Italy but it would look a lot more green and bright, plus Paris in the background
For Chaos Theory, it would be one of the Five Deaths, which would replace Nublar 2015 since it’s the most useless map
Then for the Campaign, there would be three; Mississippi, which would have tons of rivers and be a normal forest with a suburbs right outside of the maps border
Texas, which would be a desert but have tons of greenery
And, since we really need snow maps, North Wisconsin, which would be snow, but unlike Sierra Nevada, it would be bright and beautiful, with a lighthouse in the background lakes
Also, the four Mantacorpe maps would have two in Campaign and two in Chaos Theory
Plus, North Wisconsin would bring on a new type of biome: Snowy Pine Forests

absolutely agree for the exact same reasons. Biosyn DLC is very close to Malta, but the building and decorations-Set for Malta is very niche; and Biosyn has the most beautiful map + invisible fences.
When you made that video about how to get the car to not go back to the response fesility I got a sandbox world and got all the
Cars and put them in my park and I think the BioSyn cars look nice.
I mostly agree with your rankings except I'd put early Cretaceous higher. Kronosaurus, is an entirely new behaviour/animation set compared to Styxosaurus that follows the standard plesiosaur animation set so that edges it out for me. Although you could say Australovenator does as well, though it's an Apex predator vs. small carnivore. Regardless, can't wait to try out the Malta DLC when I have the time.
I just realized if you ever want to do a park with baby/juvenile and adult Dino’s, amargosaurs could be juvenile alamasaurs, moros could be baby T. rex or baby pyroraptor. Compy could be baby celophysis. Krono could be young mosasaur to
Kronosaurus is the best aquatic, because it's easy to keep happy.
1 Krono needs just 3 lagoons and the fish feeder. The Shark feeder is not required.
Keep on posting good content because it helps a lot. I recently lost my father. Some one took him away from me. Unfairly and he was a great father. Just keep uploading content it helps take my mind of it and think about this fun game. Rest in peace father.

I've only got one DLC. I struggled to chose between Malta and Boisyn but the invisible fences also got me to chose biosyn

I am still very much debating on getting this game, ive been watching a lot of videos on it as of late. Just want to finish building my jurassic park in my minecraft survival world first.
From all I've seen the best 2 dlc seem to be the biosin and malta ones, and when i one day get the game those will be the 2 dlcs i get
I would love to see some sort of ruined city exhibit for a dino like giga or allo using the new Malta decorations
At last place for me is early Cretaceous pack, I don't know what it was but I just never saw myself using those species in my Park and they're kind of forgettable
Next up on my list is the Camp Cretaceous pack, as someone who enjoyed Camp Cretaceous for what it was this pack was decent it just felt like something was missing about it but I did like the new species and the new skins like the Kentrosaurus and Orranosaurus (I think I spelled that wrong) made me use them in my Parks more
And the next step is the late Cretaceous pack, I feel like this one was way more memorable than the early Cretaceous pack and just had more memorable creatures
And then next up is the deluxe pack, nothing much to say really. It came along with the game for people who bought the deluxe edition of the game and I guess this one was just overall better than the last three on the list
And this one is actually a tie between the Biosyn expansion and Malta expansion, I can't really decide which one I like more. I think I might like the Malta expansion a little bit more but the biosyn one had more interesting stuff in my opinion, more interesting creatures and skins. So while I probably like the buildings and campaign we got better in the Malta expansion I feel like the creatures were more "intriguing" in the biosyn expansion (but not saying that the malta expansion didn't have interesting creatures)
Thats my personal list, I just want to say I actually liked all these packs but this was just how they were ranked
Could you imagine if the Malta expansion gave us the ability to crate our creatures for transport … instead of just tranquilizing them …

Unpopular opinion. I’ve played through the bulk of the Malta dlc and can safely say I preferred the biosyn expansion. I just loved the hype around dominion coming out the same time it was released and loved the idea of creating my own dino sanctuary over the whole dinosaur black market that the malta dlc offers. Either way both are awesome!
I agree that the camp Cretaceous pack is bad.

As much as I like the Malta pack,the biosyn pack is just my absolute fav for giving my fav dino (theri) and a sick giga skin and the quetz,basically some of the things I always use

i’m on the same boat as you, i’m going to get either the biosyn or malta dlc and i was leaning towards malts for the decorations but now that i think about it they only really work in desert maps 😭
Curious to see if the Malta buildings have the same snow effect on them on the Sierra Nevada map, that will look very different.

Biosyn has the Therizinosaurus which was the MOST requested dinosaur by everyone. So it wins by a mile for me personally.

I agree Biosyn DLC has been my favorite due to the universalism of the pack on each sandbox map
I love all expansiom but i want maybe one big expansion/update where we get more decorations for parks like in biosyn and the second from malta destroyed or something like that, becasue i think we need like these things, i mostly used malta descorations in my newest park where are biomes and natural habitat for dinosaurs, and the one of the biomes are deserts and malta decorations perfecty fits ( i mean the destroyed tower and walls ) in that place. Also i think they need to add all decorations we get in every map and trees and the water decorations should be also placed on ground because these looks soo cool, also maybe the natural fish feeder for land dinosaurs. But yeah the jwe 2 is better than first game.
I personally love the biosyn dlc over what I have seen of the Malta but I am considering buying the Malta aswell

It was harder deciding between the expansions than I thought, mostly because I dislike the Giga skin and Pyroraptor while I like everything in the Malta pack and Malta's buildings and decorations are top notch (honestly like them better than Biosyn's.) Put Biosyn ahead because it's got a lot of "wow" factor creatures with cool things to them like the Quetzalcoatlus and Theri as well as that gorgeous map with the low hanging mist. Plus, I mean, it does come with new buildings and decorations just like Malta so that's an objective positive even if I don't like them as much.
I would love to see a Free Update ranking! IMO the update that added first person was the best lol.
Evo could you please make a Isla Sorna abandon park with the new update and Malta decorations. (Perhaps you could use the Malta aviary as a rusty aviary?)

Reasons: I really didn't like the Early Cretaceous DLC because I didn't know anything about most of the dinos in the DLC pack.
Reason 2. I liked the Late Cretaceous because the aquatic dino glowed.
Reason 3. I liked the building sign decorations because it made me more creative and gave me a headstart to the game.
Reason 4. I remember begging my brother to buy the Camp Cretaceous DLC pack and when he did I loved the skins and the Scorpio Rex.
Reason 5. Dominion Malta Expansion DLC had a good Story and great dinosaurs but the small problem is that there weren't too many skins in the DLC.
Reason 6. I really loved the Dominion Biosyn Expansion DLC, it had a great campaign, an alright Chaos Theory, Great dinos, Great skins, Great buildings and decorations, and a great map.

I like the biosyn dlc but i hate the fact that it misses some key building variants like a lagoon or aviary in the theme of the biosyn set. It would also help that if you play on a ps4 or Xbox, that you can choose what building set era supports the biosyn set because right now its DFW and it doesn't fit with each other.

If you were to make a desert style park you should get Malta dlc. I like the desert style skins and decorations personally

Hey evolution, I've just noticed something annoying, when I try to had minmi on my park's of Malta my game keep crash, I play on pc and a friend who play on Playstation reported the same crash, of you know something about it :)
I think I will give it to Malta for the gameplay, by far actually, too much running around and chasing in Biosyn. But Biosyn had really great northern scenery also, both very worth it.
My ranking would be:
1-Biosyn/Malta:The two are good and strong DLC, one has better structures, other better mechanics, idk the two are good
2-Late cretaceous pack:Alamosaurus supremacy
3-Early cretaceous pack:Minmi supremacy
4-Deluxe DLC:It has just 4 dinosaurs and 3 vehicles skins, its not bad but not too good
5-Camp Cretaceous:A rob
