Although he didn't play for year, I doubt he sat around the entire year. People come back the same speed or faster after ACL tears where they can't even run if they wanted to. He was perfectly healthy, so I'm 100% sure he put in that work.

I can’t believe how much depth the eagles have at corner for once. Especially slot options. Maddox, DeJean, I think people forgot about Zech McPherson I feel like he’s a long shot at this point but he was trending to be a starting slot corner last year. Not to mention Hall from Vegas who is a good slot corner. Then you got slay, Rogers, Mitchell holding down the outside. Then what about Ringo and Ricks? Going to be a crazy training camp battle. Maybe they try Ringo out at safety but I doubt they give up on him this early after drafting him last year.

@HumanGeeez - Not sure, bro, I don't control that so I usually avoid questions like that. I'd personally go Slay and Mitchell outside with Rodgers in the slot and Dejean getting some time behind Slay and Rodgers in the slot. Maddox then gets in if someone is hurt in the slot. I'm actually wondering if Eli Ricks could be the odd man out.

I agree with everything you saying bout Rodgers skill, he can definitely be a starter inside or out... But ... We need a wr3 on the cheap... If im Howie I'm showcasing Rodgers all day and looking for a good wr2 or 3 on a cheap deal ... I like a few of the other wrs we have outside of brown n smith but if we got a proven player who's gonna do what they're supposed to at wr3 this offense would gap every other lineup in the league... But I'm not opposed to trading one of the other cbs definitely bradberry n I would see what Tyler hall would be worth... Also I wouldn't be opposed to getting a te in return or maybe a lb

And none of those wrs are a threat to most defenses none of em have any significant playing time in the NFL recently ... Especially Ross... All I'm saying is they're gonna be cutting cbs worth keeping and probly worth starting cause they're not keeping 7 cbs and they can't play all or even 5 or 6 of em consistently enough to justify having that many high caliber cbs ... Howie n Sirriani already said they wanna let the rookies play more especially the dbs who will only have that youth in their legs to be that twitchy for so long, most likely ... Another thing I said they could trade another cb like hall for another position like te2 which they need and lb which alot of people think they need not to mention dt even though I think they have a solid dt room n the lbs will be good enough id rather add a lil more depth at another position considering the amount of dbs they have right now... And most importantly I said I'd be ok if it was bradberry they were trading for another position that they need ... I would almost bet money that Howie is looking to trade atleast 1 if not 2 of these dbs before cut down day since they ended up with more then they can keep who r good enough to start on most teams... I understand not wanting to trade Rodgers that's why I gave more options but if your not trading one of em who and how many are you keeping and who are you starting? @@loud.6585 - You really didn't need to write all that. I reacted to your mentioning of trading Rodgers. Trading him would be super dumb, in my opinion. And if having no NFL reps means you're not a threat to a defense then what was Puks Nacua last year or any other rookie who has balled out throughout the history of the league? Trading Bradberry is a given. Rodgers I'm not with.
I'd cut Hall, Jobe, and Ricks and try to trade Bradberry and, if not, but him, too. Rodgers would be the other vet along with Slay and Maddox, until he's injured (knock on wood).
@@loud.6585 - And worrying about next season doesn't make sense either when you fired both coordinators and it's clear that it you don't advance far THIS SEASON Sirianni could lose his job. Relying on rookies and worried about the future isn't totally in the cards, especially on defense and especially in the secondary. And Rodgers is only 26 years old with two years not playing on his body. If he proves to be that guy, you'd have him for the next 4-5 seasons balling out if you wanted to. Him playing on the outside does present a problem in the future for the younger cats, but that's a problem you welcome after what happened last year at the position. I'd personally play him on the inside which would open up another spot on the outside for Mitchell, DeJean, and Ringo.

If brown or smith miss time it's goin to be tough when ur #2 wr is possibly an unproven guy or a guy who retired and came back ... Maybe there's a scenario where they keep Rodgers and Mitchell to start outside after slay leaves n dejean plays nickel with Ringo being the top backup ... That works for me but they're all gonna be in the running for big contracts so that'll be an issue and we still have atleast 2 if not more, other cbs worth playing in Maddox and hall so Howie has spot of options and I believe he wants 1 more reliable piece on offense.... Might not be Rodgers but Id bet big money he trades a db for a wr or te

Maybe not Slay, as he's such an integral locker room voice and would have a poor attitude if benched, but I could see him pushing Bradberry off the roster and taking his spot... However, anything's possible.
