Gotta say this, Kyle you have reinvigorated my love for collecting and hunting for Wrestling figures and also hunting toys from my childhood.

I got out of McFarlane last year, but damn, some of these figures are speaking to me. The Super Powers Firestorm was my favorite, so I have come close to picking up the McFarlane. I also love the look of The Flash, Hawkman, Batman and Vampire Superman. Todd might be getting some of my money soon.
Nice picks. I don't think I could even remember what all came out in '23. Definitely the vampires, caveman Batman, Catman, and SDCC Batman.
I feel I have been watching you for I think 6 years. I never told you what a good job you do with time management juggling everything that you have going on. Keep up all the great work and happy new year!

Awesome list there, here is my list as someone who has no ties to nostalgia to DC comics or anything, I collect figures for how cool they look and how well they articulate:

My favorite McFarland are in no particular order, Captain Carrot ( have no idea who he is and never heard of him but he is such a cool figure), Knightfall Batman, Spawn from the 2 pack, Vampire Green Lantern and Vampire Superman
Back in the 80's I had the Super Powers Collection Firestorm, wish I still had all the figures I as a kid from that line.

That Captain Carrot figure has no permission to look that great!an what a nice color scheme, all white eyes, mean mug look, and the bulky proportions definitely hit it home for me. Need that one for sure, just to damn expensive 😅 I cry every time I watch McFarlane Toys, Marvel Legends, and WWE Elite/Ultimate review and unboxing videos. 😢😂 I've been peeping AEW Unrivaled a little bit lately as well. Man I always wish that I had a genie to grant me 3 wishes because one of them would be to have every single figure that comes out. Shoot even the WWE Retro Series that are LJN styled and Masters Of The Universe figures. I just love toys.

Great video! I didn't realize how few McFarlane figures I had bought last year, until I went looking to put together my top ten. I only bought THREE! And one of them was actually released in 2022, but I played the long game and got myself a deal!
Anyway, here's my little top three list:
3) Hush (Batman: Hush)
2) Abyss (Batman vs. Abyss)
1) Riddler (Arkham City)

Also nice list love that Hal but I never had a chance to get it but I might just have to pay secondary market price for it it’s pretty nice. I just have to give a shout out to the George Clooney Batman that one is just so fun!
That Batman is great, and the classic Riddler they released around the same time is almost as good.

Joe classified, Jada, and Yolopark - lines of the year! Todd still killed it though.
Bat Spawn pack was the first retail item I was so excited to buy full price in a loooooong time!
I saw one Walmart with about 20 Vampire Lanterns when they came out and it immediately made me wish I’d gone in on the vampire figures. I happened to run across a Vampire GL just last week and resisted it. If I could stop at just that one I would grab it but I know me.
The thing with that Vampire Green Lantern (as much as he´s my favorite character) is that either you take those flames as a part of his powers BUT if you know the source material you´ll know exactly how much that design was used in the story.
...and the least said about Vampire Superman the better. That is, as how he´s represented not how great the figure is.
In terms of Firestorm (another one of my favorites and was waiting so much for him to get made) as great as the figure is (and still need to get him) to me 1. he´s missing the basic transmutation effect (the one that looks similar to the Atom´s effect when ha makes use of his powers) and 2. I´d much prefer he´d look like the New 52 onwards where the costume is sleek and not baggy. In fact, that image that comes from the package is from New 52 but from most of the run when they were 2 Firestorms. it wasn´t until they fused together to make the Nuclear Man that he looked like a modern Firestorm.

I haven't been collecting a lot of DC Multiverse figures because of how some of the releases are but my ranking is 1. Knightfall Batman, 2. Hush Superman, 3 Jay Garrick the Flash, 4. Sinestro, and 5. Knightfall Catwoman
Man great list. I woulda anagged that Platinum Hawkman if did trim the hair and change the color. I dont do any of that to my figs though other than time i did a head swap on transformers
Dc Vampires is cool but was waiting to see if DCeased would get the todd treatment and more in story characters that turned and not cover stars. Green Lantern Black Canary would.be pretty cool.
Its a toughue for me on a list as i did pick and choose certain characters i am a fan of.

I don't think I picked up any of these. I wanted to get the vampire line but none of my walmarts get any store exclusives in aside from a few of the movie TMNT figures.

One big downside to the Spawn doesn't come with njce accessories the sword is ok. But the other spawn figs come with nice pieces
