WALKWAY TO OLYMPIA DEMOLITION (DUNDEE 2012/2013)

Some amazing close up footage showing how the Public Walkway in Dundee that spanned from Tayside House to the old Olympia Leisure Centre was demolished and removed from the skyline. It was one of the first major changes to take place in the area as part of the 'One Billion Pound Central Waterfront Project.' It's now condemned to the history books but captured on film for future generations of Dundonians to see.

i do miss that Hooly, brings me back to my childhood. i'm mid 20s now and recall the old waterfront well.
changing dundee for the better or council ruining it as usual, i'm not too sure

I found this video to be bitter sweet. I'll never get over what they did to the waterfront - I am seething after watching that. And the "state-of-the-art" £31 million new Olympia is shut for essential repairs after no even been up 10 year? Canna make it up there was nothing wrong with the old one! Gee me the waterfront as it was over the upside down concrete eyesore any day. Surely it's just a mockery. Will never set foot in there full of nonsense anyway
